These look fantastic. It’s a great set, I’ve got one box must get more, Perry plastics are always great value and there are no better figures about. The new French Infantry sets look good too. I can never get to the door before my wife, she works from home. Unfortunately there are a couple of orders on the way from the Warlord sale....
Very nice painting. Well done. Stick to your 36 figure battalions - they look far more impressive on the battlefield. I always have a Mounted Officer for my 1st Battalion command base and then use Foot Officers in the 2nd and 3rd Battalion (where appropriate) command bases.
Michael Holgate I think your way ahead of me Micheal. I struggle to do two battalion regiments. I do think about adding mounted command. Not sure why I don’t as they do look nice
Calpe are like Perrys tall wise but little more meat than warlord front rank are the heavies then calpe ans then Perrys for the most part ....I dont have plastic much but when you make them it feels good you have a one of a kind .....o i do like the plastic alot .....Nassau ya they look great .....i just finished some 21 front rank will post soon
Great looking unit mate I've done some of these I have a video of them my favourite perry plastics I've also done the front rank nassau and they are really nice I'm like you I have to look out for the postie so the ball and chain doesn't see what I'm buying ☺
hxjay1971 Nothing like the bread knife 🔪 getting to the door first and asking the simple question “so what’s in the box”. Yes they are lovely figures. Can’t wait to do the first 12 Nassau
Just to give a shout re the book written by Peter Morbey of Elite Miniatures ' Creating a Napoleonic Army 1809 - 1815'. A really useful book with lots of eye candy pictures. See the review given by 1809Project on utube.

Would 16 man battalions work, or would they be to small ?
Are calpe minatures in scale with 28mm the web site says they are 25mm?
granapriego
Easily 28mm. Might be how he chooses to measure them
