So interesting - the Armani is my go to foundation and back in the day when I had very little money the L’Oréal was the only one I used.

I don't even wear liquid foundation but I love this series. The only battle of a dupe I can think of at the moment is one on eyeliners. Eyeliners for the waterline. Right now I'm using Elf's waterproof gel liner. I love it. I have the Marc Jacob's gel liner but Elf's has definitely blown that one out of the water. I guess I'd like to see if there's any other drugstore liners that can basically replace Elf's should they discontinue it...

I have the true match and like it a lot, my skin is oily even after menopause ( yes, I am that old ) but since I start to wear the Ordinary line and the Niacinamide I noticed that my skin is a lot less oily, I do have a few different foundations and I also love the Fit Me poreless, love your natural, classy make up.

Dior makeup is made in the same factory that Fenty and Sephora's in house brand are made in, so if you're looking for an inexpensive dupe, I'd check Sephora's in house brand! When Fenty released their Blurring Skin Tint, it was shockingly similar to one of Sephora's foundations they'd already had in store for a while.

FYI...I purchased pumps for the loreal true match bottles on Amazon. Got a pack of 4 for under $10. I think they were labeled as replacement pumps for estee lauder double wear.

Fantastic video! Lumi was the first foundation that I used when I started wearing liquid foundation 5 years ago. It was very good for my normal to dry skin. But I've never tried the True Match. It looked beautiful on you!
I love True Match but, please L'oreal, give us a pump! I doctored up my bottle with a MAC pump.

Have you tried the L’Oréal infallible pro glow? I watched a video where someone said it was the closest to the luminous silk and would love to hear your thoughts
I wear the luminous silk; the pro glow by L’Oréal didn’t last on me at all personally got oily in 3 hours. I would want to give true match a go to see how it would hold up (if it’s as good as Giorgio Armani).

I have never tried the expensive one I didn’t even know it existed but I have tried the supposed dupes before and don’t like a single one of them... this leaves me wanting to know if the expensive one it’s good or as bad as the “dupes” ? I love Estée Lauder double wear or Revolution brand which is really affordable and good in my opinion.
I can’t believe L’Oréal still makes the Lumi foundation. 😳 Most of their foundations are too dark for me. I quit trying- I still with Maybelline.
Same, I've always wanted to try their lumi foundation but there just isn't a shade that fair enough😫. Maybe someday they'll expand

Bunny Kos -I absolutely believe the only factor that drives the cost is the name. The luxury brands I have tried have never worked spectacularly for me. I bought several Charlotte Tilbury products , for example, and truly did not see that they were worth the high price tags. At least on me. I’m just not willing to spend the money to get them. The Armani Luminous foundation featured here did not even work for me at all.
@@ginnyburley9552 I have been looking at the ingredients in these high end foundations & powders as I have very sensitive skin & so many are almost identical, especially powders. I'm tempted with luminous silk, as I'm using double wear but it might be a time to look for a more glowing finish. It's a very expensive series of trial & error lol!

Impressive... this is what I have found with the $120 La Mere foundation and an incredibly cheap dupe. The expensive one I have tried last longer and smelled better. I had tried the Armani concealer but although the make up consultant applied it, it caked. What I would like to find a cheaper alternative of, is their clear lip balm, of all things. (All this was pre - pandemic, of course.)The consultant had put it on my lips, without me asking. After leaving, for a large part of that afternoon, it was still on my lips, which has never ever happened before, not even close. It would be awesome to find an affordable balm which performs like that.

L’Oréal has a few( they can’t decide-true match nude serum, infallible pro glow, infallible etc, Milani conceal and perfect and more. Good grief. And is it the best now? Clinique better?
