If you read the sign on the floor when you reach the sub-basement, then it tells you the auto-factory is producing Mechs continually, and that it needs to be shutdown. The auto-factory is *right* across the atrium. So you need to go right and get into the room and flip the switch to shutdown the constant spawners (and there are 2). The 'Cold' is the replacement for the stun turret behind the blackwall at the other end (left hand end) of the corridor (you can take it out with careful aim with a rocket launcher). You can get the 'siege droids' in RE1 in Zirax POIs. The Assault Mech in the core room is a recent RE2 addition. The Commercial versions of the Constructor/Deconstructor use less CP than their 'vanilla' version. I would retrieve the Laser turrets regardless .. you can always use or deconstruct them later. Probably not worthwhile installing on the Makar (its not a combat CV).
Ty for the feedback. Running into the cold was a pain, but starting to like the environmental challenges as they add variety to POIs. Although it is only matter of time before corrosive/cold traps appear. :)) Will hang onto the laser turrets for the moment against the possibility of using them on a combat CV.
At 39:45 you shut off the switch for the constant spawns in that room. Did you check the crate on the left side of the switch to get the quantum processor.

Not immediately, but picked up 2 quantum processors later on.
All you get now are turrets that do not work. You have to find schematics to repair them, I just dumped them into the deconstructor.
At 15:37 you walk pass a hole in the wall. There a rare loot container in the ceiling in there.
Ty for the information. Eventually found it. :))
