Sawyer gives me the wonderful feeling I get when I listen to Neil Young or John Denver. He is the storyteller of his generation. It is so rare to find lately. I feel so blessed to have an artist like him to listen to. He is a breath of fresh air. Thank you Sawyer!

He grabbed my ear with first word & blows my mind every time ever since. One of a kind & there is no way to confuse his voice as a result. Extraordinary, genius, grounded & walked away from trappings of the show....ever notice that Pharrell has not coached since Sawyer? I don't know what went down, but this guy is something else!! 🎶🎤🎸❣🎸🎤🎶

He has a very good band at every tour show, but he does a solo set of 4 songs in the middle of the show. His band also plays on his upcoming album, Hide Your Ghost. For a preview of 3 songs go to Jam in the Van youtube channel.
90% of his show is his own original songs. The only cover he regularly does is Man of Constant Sorrow. He takes requests during a solo set, and he sometimes does a cover that's requested. I was at this show and people sang along. Nobody there thought this cover made him look bad.
Check out newyorker9 RUclips channel to hear all his original songs. Sawyer rarely does covers, but when he does more often than not he wows the audience. Often I think his version is better than the original.
