This is the most precious thing I’ve seen today. The gentleness and patience shown while feeding this newborn is beyond beautiful. Thank you for sharing this moment of pure love. ❤❤
This is so heartwarming! The kindness and compassion shown in this simple act of feeding reflect the true meaning of humanity. Prayers for the baby and gratitude for the caregivers.
Jolie frimousse 🥰❤❤❤
Use a bottle
@@darlenerimes884 not all babies in nicu know how the suck swallow breathe. Some mothers do not want their baby to have a bottle so they don’t experience nipple confusion
Adorable.
God bless you newborn 😘
❤❤❤
Spoon is to big
😍😍😍
La metà va sprecato. Che fenomeni
Половина молока -мимо рта. Очень медленно. Закончите обед, пора ужинать😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The spoon is way too big. Why not give baby a bottle or mom's breast. ❤
Because the baby’s sucking reflex isn’t developed enough yet for breast or bottle. Or at least that’s why this method is usually used.
@@kimiki65you’re right 😊❤
I have to agree with the comments below. Why such a LARGE spoon? Half of it is spilling out of the baby’s mouth.
Feeding the baby too much too fast because she's in a hurry and doesn't like her job😢
I understand how concerning it can be to see a baby being fed quickly, and I share your worry for the little one’s comfort. In the NICU, feeding is typically done with great care to ensure the baby’s safety and well-being. If it appears rushed, it might be due to the need to maintain a controlled flow to prevent choking or other issues. However, if you feel something isn’t right, it’s always okay to voice your concerns to the medical team. They are there to support both the baby and the family. Thank you for your compassion and care-it’s heartwarming to see such concern for this little one. 💕😊
You don’t feed baby flat on it back
Do you need glasses? The baby IS sitting up not laying down, watch it again 🙄
She doesn't know how to burp the baby
O bebê esta quase deitado, a posição esta ruim pra ele, que pode Engasgar, só levante um pouquinho mais sua cabeça
Immer schlauer sein wollen, die werden wissen was sie tun.
Thank you for your concern! The baby’s position is carefully adjusted to ensure safety and comfort during feeding. Elevating the head slightly helps prevent any risk of choking. The baby is closely monitored to make sure everything is done safely.
Bottle bottle 🍼🍼
Give me a reason why spoon fed is better than bottled fed ?
Spoon feeding is preferred in NICU because:
1. Hygiene: Reduces infection risks compared to bottles.
2. Nipple Confusion: Helps babies transition to breastfeeding easily.
3. Controlled Feeding: Allows precise feeding amounts and pace.
4. Gentle for Preemies: Suitable for babies who can’t suck effectively.
5. Oral Development: Encourages muscle development for feeding and speech.
It’s a safe and beneficial method for newborns, especially preemies.
Baby is too weak to suck enough milk from a bottle
You say that as if hygiene is important to you. The man's nails in this video are filthy!
@@newborn_wellness_hubyes thank you for spelling all of this out!! I get so tired of trying to educate people when all they have to do is look up on the internet and they’ll find their answer!! ❤
Isso é. Hospital....tem misericordia😒
I understand your concern. The hospital staff are trained to provide the best care for babies, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Thank you for your understanding.
The spoon is not right for feeding
It is if the baby’s sucking reflex isn’t developed enough yet.
It doesn’t matter “how” the baby is fed, the importance is that they eat and the baby did eat.
Why are they always in a hurry to feed baby . A cup would be better
@@TaraLSiyou are really without healthy sense. It does not matter?!
@@eileenferry4294and less rush, it is not a goose!
Laying down like thus is stupid and dangerous, big spoon, too much at once and an idiot feeding
Haha, I see you have some strong opinions! Rest assured, the baby’s in good hands. We’ll try to make the spoon look a little smaller next time!
I really do not understand this amatorstuff
Okay! I'm not understanding this feeding at all. No Bottles? If not, why such a large spoon? You're spilling more milk than the baby is consuming. I was going to ask why isn't the baby sitting up, but I can tell by the instruments behind the baby is sitting up.
Thank you for your questions-it’s completely understandable to feel confused about this feeding method. In the NICU, some babies, especially premature or medically fragile ones, may not be ready for bottle feeding right away. Spoon feeding is sometimes used as a temporary measure to ensure the baby receives nutrition safely and at a controlled pace. While the spoon might seem large, it’s carefully managed to minimize spills and ensure the baby gets enough milk. As for the baby’s position, you’re absolutely right-the baby is supported in an upright position to aid digestion and prevent choking. The medical team is trained to prioritize the baby’s safety and comfort at all times. If you have more questions or concerns, feel free to ask-I’m here to help! 🤗
You DON'T feed babies, with a metal spoon.
How about you try researching as to why feeding babies this way before you claim to know. You are right. It’s not common to feed babies with a spoon but if you research it, you’ll find there are many reasons. Some babies have a hard time with the suck swallow breath reflex so if they get a bottle, they can very very easily stop breathing and choke on milk. I wish people would look into things before being so judgy.

I’m a NICU RN for 20+ years and you are absolutely correct.
It always amazes me how uneducated people are with their comments on these kinds of videos.
♥️♥️
♥️♥️
Omg the baby is being feed on her back. It can aspirate.
Soll froh sein, das es überhaupt etwas bekommt.
It’s not on its back, the baby is sitting up 🙄
Poor baby 😢
That's dangerous
I understand your concern. The baby's safety is our top priority, and every feeding method is done with careful supervision to ensure it is safe and appropriate for their needs.
These people are not educated...obviously 🙄
What a rude comment. 🙄 scroll down about 9 comments under yours it’s under Gloria something another and the dr or nurse explains in the comments in plain English as to why this feeding is preferred in NICU
