    great upgrade my friend...staying with the metal traxxas servo horn is key to keep all the angle aligned the correct way ...thats a good servo u got as well...cool video..you got your own style recording your videos going from scene to scene..i like it...i just installed my ''a and m garage anti wrap bar'' for my rc4wd...you should look into there website..thats was the main piece i wanted bc my buddy trails and his leaf spring binded up and snapped...also a great upgrade to do is the ''bowhouse rear cnc mounts there like 10-13 bucks but is a game changer....besides that im gonna run my stock electronics before i put the new stuff in..but i love scale items so the exhaust i needed theres one for the 4runner u have by cchand..i also used the cchand 4runner rear inner fenders 12 bucks..and put a rc4wd ranchoo steering stabilizer as my drag link....anyways...love the channel..my next servo might be this one u just got..big thanks for another great video....happy new years to u and ur loved ones

    Ayup , i upgraded to 40kg servos in a few of my rigs , then shortly after i HAD to upgrade the entire steering system up front on all as the 40kg just started tearing them apart , its a great upgrade , but can be costly in the long run . nice video , cheers .

      if you run the servo without bec on 6V it is 29Kg.

    • @IRONSIDE_RC

      @@alexanderbesliu-surkic135 Thanks for sharing! I didn't really know about BEC until recently. I had a problem after servo install with my Led lights not working anymore and it was due to not having a BEC + having a lot of lights and winch added. The reciver couldn't supply lights the full 3v I only had 2.2v out of distribution box. I have got one now Castle BEC 2.0 and working on a next video to show install and will have brighter leds after aswell more voltage to supply! So everything should have its full power to perform to its best! 😃👌🙏 have you encountered similar problem?

    • @alexanderbesliu-surkic135
      @alexanderbesliu-surkic135 2 года назад

      @@IRONSIDE_RC if you run this particular servo on 6V it will have a turning power of 29kg.
      with a bec that puts out 7.4V it will have 35kg and a faster turning. For the full 40kg you need 8,4V. I run mine on 6V and it is just enough. i didn t want to mess with the distribution box so that it stays waterproof. a bec will take some space that requires some changes to the distribution box.

      @@alexanderbesliu-surkic135 Well I mainly use 3s which run at 11.1v so I should be good after BEC install to have full power going to all systems! I did yes have to remove my Traxxas distribution block and get rid of it completely! I found a nice spot to mount my new waterproof BEC up high away from water and in convenient spot also got it above my front wheels which I'm happy about for more weight at front of vehicle! I run the GRC interior kit to so I was worried about space as it's designed for stock system! But will work out great ill have the video done in awhile stay tuned can see what I ended up doing! Thanks for sharing 🙂✌

    at 7:42 time stamp u said the realest shit my dude...how u like to run stock to see the true potential of ur rc with there stock electronics...and into something breaks..then u will address the issue..plus ''i like to save money''..lmao...with my rc4wd i heard this sucks that sucks..well the stock electronics was fine and blew me away bc i was going off what people was saying...i like to sell rcs and i always invest back in the parts with my profit and put the original capital away..im a big budget guy thats what my channel is about..i bought the same yellow and black scale items like 3 times this month bc the price was 7$ then 3.99 then 9$..and i got a metal hi jack that sells alone for 10-12$ with 5 other metal itams..and a plastic jerry can lol...

      Thanks man!! It's only true and makes the most sense to me! Nothing like testing it out for yourself and making your own judgements and calls on what's good or bad to upgrade. Everyone opinion is different so best to figure it out yourself! Upgrade when it breaks or failing! I mean scale looks is a different topic because I'm a suckerrr for that 🤣 but for performance that's how I treat every RC! Once my motor dies I'll upgrade to brushless aswell!

    What about setting the epa of the servo? Do you have to do that?

    • @IRONSIDE_RC
      @IRONSIDE_RC  Год назад

      Hello! In my case I never did. I didn't find any stress on steering or noise from servo. It is worth checking though if you notice those issues as everyone's trx4 setup could be different from factory

    I want a 45kg servo. How can I make my car be able to put out all it can do? Do I need a battery with a certain amount of bolts or what?

    • @IRONSIDE_RC
      @IRONSIDE_RC  Год назад

      Hello! If you want more power to your servo you can use a BEC to power servo instead of powering it through your reciever. This way you can select the voltage it will recieve and it will be constant power direct from your battery!
