There's something quite emotional about how in a pandemic the gardens step up to the plate and offer such a magical experience. They really have to do it every year now.

"The most wholesome RUclips channel ever!" I bumped into You both yesterday and thanks for being so nice! Absolutely genuine just the same as you are in the vlogs. My highlight was a night ride on Wicker man front seat. So intense! The attic was my favourite maze, I didn't realise the pirate ship maze was for younger families so based on that it was really good! I forgot to say you guys should say please like and subscribe because you never do. I also can't wait for Velocicoaster! 2021 trip fingers crossed! Glad you did the outdoors maze at night, we did it in the day and not so scary.

I really wanna go but scarefest places have been full for 3 weeks on the premium season pass. Quite frustrating
It’s certainly not easy to book for season pass holders

Amusement part always gives me this giddy feeling and has for years. I feel like a little kid again. The only other thing that can do this for me is music. You know bands like Delta Parole, that music takes me back the most.

I thought personally overall it was good. Personally needed a few scare zones because thorpe park looked way better than Alton Towers. How ever the new maze was great and loved Darkest Depths. Saw you a few times Shauwn hope you had a good day 👍🎢

Hiya Shawn, watched your vlog twice now. I remember the Carnival of Screams all those years ago. The Gardens look amazing, Alton Towers go above and beyond when it comes to Scarefest. Love the Towers all lite up blue and green. This place is just magical this time of year, worth every penny, am gutted to not make this year but next year, keep me away lol. Stay Safe guys.

I was there with my family. We stayed in a Treehouse which was amazing. The weather on Saturday was terrible, but I got to ride Nemesis in the dark and rain. Such an onslaught to the senses. Better than The Smiler. Great blog!

The one thing to top scarefest off would be somthing in forbidden vally like a scare zone as it's all in the same area. They did one a few years ago up by where project 42 was and it looked brilliant

We went last night (Sunday 18th October) and loved it !!! Tbh I thought The Attic was the weakest maze of them all and Darkest Depths was amazing in fact it’s one of the best scare mazes I’ve ever done ! Garden lights Walk Whispering Souls was stunning and we even did the Dungeon so there’s really 6 attractions in total plus all the entertainment and I only went on Nemesis twice
It’s certainly a strong lineup this year!

We did the earliest slot for The Attic and wasn't too impressed, nice to hear it got better as the day went on. A few lights etc weren't on when we went around and it was pitch black so we missed a lot of the theming in many of the rooms, we ended up in 3 actors chambers (before they jump out) as we kept going the wrong way haha

I missed you guys by a single day. Probably for the best; I overdid it on Nemesis and spend half the evening with severe nausea feeling sorry for myself. Felt better in time for a night-ride on Wickerman though, was totally worth it.

Never thought I'd hear a bit of Muse at Scarefest. 😆 Wish Alton Towers would make those masks available on their website - there's a few for sale on eBay but they're at a pretty big markup considering they were probably bought with annual pass discount!

Looks good. Hoping to go some time but Alton Towers has been fully booked on weekends since September pretty much for premium pass holders even though you can still pay full price for a day ticket which is annoying especially as with the premium pass you pay to get in any day even if it's at capacity. Managed to get into one of the pass holder days in November though which is nice. Hopefully they still have some of the mazes in place! How have you found it, assuming you have an annual pass?
It’s certainly not easy to book dates at the moment. We’ve booked a few evenings though!
