In Super Smash Bros. Melee, there's a player called Borp. Borp is legendary for having 0 tech-skill(mechanics), but having such strong fundamentals that he was able to take tournament sets off of high-level players. No tech needed, just solid game-sense and fundamentals.
It's the same as if AppJack played RL with KBM. He'd still destroy every single one of us even without any mechanics and just because he knows how to do the basics super well

What do u mean don’t air roll on shots for accuracy, like just turn ur car sideways instead and always front flip? Or like always be in the exact right position to flip directly to the net without turning or airolling ur car mid air?

palerider says hes not mechanical but he is, he just doesnt use them in his playstyle. If you watch him when he's just playing on a smurf for fun you'll see he's actually pretty mechy
The map is the limit when you have a full tank of boost, literally. You can pretty much score from anywhere without having the ball touch the ground with 100 boost.
Not to take away from PaleRider’s skill level, but I think this game just tends to reward the mindless chasing play style. I lose all the time to players that are just absolute dog at the game and every single time it’s because they are just pure monkey’s. I swear my win rate against an absolute trash can is much lower than someone who is probably better than me, but is much more patient. So annoying to lose to brain dead players when you’re trying to be smart 😂…. But again, PaleRider obviously has a brain, he just reminds me of playing in C1-GC2 in ones where there are consistently players who literally do nothing but hold R2 and boost and somehow you can’t beat em 😂

u know its kinda the most anoying players in rocket league. He has no mechanics, dont skip replayes, has a freaky clown car and when u playing against these players u will lose 100%. Fun fact that jack is actually much more better then palerider but how u can see he lost xDD
He does have mechanics, just doesn’t go for super flashy stuff. He doesn’t skip replays because he streams on multiple platforms and reads chat when he can. He likes his car designs and doesn’t want to have a sweaty car design.

Whenever pros air Dibble time literally slows down. When I dribble I get lucky if I can double touch.

not skipping replays is a great way to analyze mistakes, blindly skipping them hinders your improvement

The problem wit the demos are that if you hit the tires and then still hit the hitbox you miss the demo
