I had vauxhall Victor F series one as my first car it was the family car which I bought when my Dad bought NSU 110SC as our family car..
The Victor lasted a number of years 1970 to 1980 very reliably and went fishing camping holiday to Cornwalli have very fond memories of my first car, the car along with my 1972 Honda CD175 gave me the freedom as Honda said you meet the Nicest people on a Honda and in a Vauxhall!!!.
    Happy Days !!!!
368 KKR in two tone black bottom grey top Deluxe with chrome valve radio and fake leopard skin quality seat covers...
When I got a newer car neighbour bought it and used it for another 3 three years he worked at Smith field and needed a cheap car ir served hi. Well he said it never let him down..

Hi Charles. I too learned to drive in an F Series. I stalled during a 3 point turn on my driving test. The examiner after 30 secs or so said how about starting the engine. I looked down and saw the ignition and oil lights on. I said I had not realised and he also said the same as the engine was so quiet!

Pontiac dealers in the States sold the Vauxhall. Buick dealers sold the Opel.
And, both dealers did their best not to sell those small profit, small cars. They'd try to steer you to their domestic offerings.

I remembered the car from the Priors of Yaxham did have fog lamps fitted because the wiring loom was still in place. It was in such good condition that I did actually fit it to Humphrey. As I already had the genuine switches all I needed was the fog and spot lamps although I never did find them and even if I did I would probably not have fitted them and I didn't particularly like them.
