@russelwilson523 It's been a long time, but I'm pretty sure I had the module power wires soldered directly to the esc positive and negative. That being said, I had full lipo power going to the module.
Where can I find this part I need two of them. My best friend is legally blind and we trail at night because of work. We need the lights to keep track of the cars. Any kind of a lead would be appreciated!
Not everyone has the extra money. Trying to help the budget builders out there, not the ones who just throw the most expensive pieces on because it's easier.

I tried connecting the jst from the module to my hobbywing prongs but no power. Does the power module from traxxas require a certain voltage?

It shouldn't be a problem. I ran 3S.
The Traxxas light kit uses up too much power from the battery. Better to just use a separate Lipo battery with a jst plug.
Not everyone has a small/separate lipo they can use.
