How great to discover this is now on youTube. The text quoted from the Medusa Forum is by me, written after I found a cassette of the show in my attic. My brother Martin did the digital transfer. Thinking of Phil.
It's a shame that nearly 40 years later, Irish punks/Celtic punks still get this type of treatment from certain corners of the media. There is this arrogance from musical purists that you have to prove your Irish-ness.
Pure magic to hear all the energy (and history) from these musical legends
Thanks for this!

Hahahahahahahaa, you'd not hear stuff like that in this day and age on the RTE.
Many thanks for the upload.
James Fearnley’s book, ‘Here Comes Everybody’ brought me here.

RIP Frank Murray. A real gentleman.
Thanks for posting this! I love hearing Shane's interviews. This is great!
I love how shane macgowan never once pointed out that he's irish and lived in tipperary for most of his childhood.
Ennit. Didn't need to justify himself to that ignorant lot
Yes well of course, he didn't

hah yeah I didn't know the meaning of that title until this
noel hill really got on my nerves in this interview
in 2023 this would be heavy implied accusations of 'culture appropriation'
What a load of bollox. Why not discuss the quality of the music. Shane MacGowan is one of the greatest singer song writers of all time.
