So prescient to hear George talking, in 1987, about how adanvces in technologies have disturbed the atmosphere to the point where that negative energy is kicking back with these frequent natural disasters.
This is a surprisingly insightful interview for RTE Radio 2. I remember hearing this in Donegal back then. George Harrison had huge family connections with Ireland and so it was nice that he opened up with such an interesting chat to BP on Irish radio. Thank you George.
George is so humble. I loved his witty low key introduction. Other artistes, given the opportunity to introduce themselves, would tell the listeners everything! Or maybe he was being ironic? Whatever, hats off to George!

Never heard of George! By George where have you been? Most 15yr olds & above know about the Beatles. Schools actually have Beatles lessons now, sometimes Paul drops by a school & does one of the lessons, & he has a suitcase of the latest reissues & trys to sell them 10% discount & monthly pocket money payments. There you go..
Harrison says "Even with the money Governments will spend it on building bombs and military, not end wars or help the homeless, unemployed" Jeez, 36 years later he wasn't wrong
Great pic of George in Hawaii. I could play George's music constantly and still want more.

Is that Irish connection through his Mum or Dad ? I know one of his parents was a catholic but not particulaly practising.
@@johnmorgan5495 George Harrison's strong Irish connection was mostly from his mother's side.
All of the Beatles have Irish roots@@paolobradley1

(The interviewer) BP Fallon worked for John Lennon/Apple from the late 60's until he moved stateside in late '71.
I remember him working for Led Zeppelin.
Also I think Dylan will tour until his 90s.
