Facts
4:00 The clock stops at 2.2 for about 2 seconds. It would have expired if it kept running.
Must of been easy af back then to rig games
@@17sbaucum That worked against the Lakers though.
It’s still inexcusable by the person working the clock but I think they assumed that the Lakers were gonna call for a timeout or that Magic was gonna hold the ball to get fouled instead of what he actually did
3:02 some of the best chemistry between two players. Russ and Adams work so well together
Sadly Russ is not as selfless as Adams
Roy Batty Russ is the definition of selfish
Roy Batty well now they are not together
Number 9 is not a smart play. That was an act of disrespect
Thomas Cronk no its not
You must be an old man that does not know what fun us
Why isnt it back court though
Yes it's Disrespectful, they call it the Unwritten Rule
Max Morario not fun just disrespectful the game is already over
It would be nice to hear the plays. Music was not needed.
AzucaNegra16 what do you mean?
Wtf you don’t hear plays, you watch them
@@chscelebrity8325 he/she meant hear the commentators and the game background, which was overridded by the music
@@flippingphysics0160 Thank you, that is exactly what I meant.
Nah music is lit
What about Jason Kidd bumping into coach Mike Woodson during play, drawing a technical foul on the coach?
NBA players: able to have quick reactions in real life
Me: still wondering where the ball went in most scenes as a spectator
Anyone remember Nate Robinson's Jump ball? Lol instead of jumping for it against a big men he let the big men tap it in, yet Robinson instead of jumping for the tap ran to where he thought the big guy would tip it to, and Nate actually caught it 😂
It’s not allowed so how is it smart
tito 23 it was illegal
tito 23 eat a sock
tito 23 yea but that’s illegal the jumper can’t grap the ball
lol it was him n rudy gay
When they inbounded the ball for an alley oop and purposely didnt touch the ball so the clock wouldnt start. Then charles barkley made the shot. thats a real smart play
JoseDaFruit link?
ruclips.net/video/WFe-71tNPQk/видео.html ANT RO
JoseDaFruit that’s incredible
Caleb Wulfekuhle Huh ?
JoseDaFruit the alley oop play
This is the kind of top/best of videos we need. No unnecessary exposition by the uploader in between each of the clips, no stupid fucking cutaways to fortnite gameplay, just a short and simple run down of why I clicked the video.
3:01 Aquaman?... what are you doing playing basketball? XD
How tf is an elbow pass "smart" this list has too many good dribble moves and passes not uniquely "smart" plays
NOLAN TURBOTURTLE THOMPSON Confuses defenders... it’s smart if you can do it consistently.
That’s what I’m aaying
NOLAN TURBOTURTLE THOMPSON your face isn't a smart play
NOLAN TURBOTURTLE THOMPSON your face isn't a smart play
NOLAN TURBOTURTLE THOMPSON exactly lmao
These are great clips but how is the Charles Barkley 1993 0.5 second buzzbeater not in here? That play was crafted and executed flawlessly
God bless you all have a great day and Christmas!
Clicked this video and immediately thought of number 1 so to see it number 1 is great a totally forgotten underrated play. Also number 5 we’ve seen quite a few guys throw it off the back of the guy defending them inbounding the ball but to throw it off the back of a defender not actually defending YOU?? That shit is crazy!
I was like where has this guy been so long I missed his videos
sorry guys for being all this time without uploading videos, I've been very busy, but DUNKBUSTER RETURNS!
welcome back
Welcome
Can you shout me out
Dunk Buster what's the background music at the beginning!?
Dunk Buster what is the song of your intro
Watching this on quarantine is fun
This is the first basketball highlight video I've seen without Hip-hop in the intro
Do you know the name ?
What is the intro song name pls!!
David Hernandez i’d much rather have hip hop than that shit
@@stupidsolo2603 search ncs then hellcat
Darude - Sandstorm
Where's JR Smith's from today's game? X-D
Got every beat in the world and you choose this one. '-'
Nice job, Editor.
Wow this is actually a very high quality video
Barely any of these were smart they were just good plays
luke gargarella But you gotta day Steven Adam’s Play was Smart
You fue ei. R. Rufteugruf
iZestyHQ bet i would destroy you in a 1 v 1
ZxstyGM is that what he was arguing? No I don't think so, of course NBA players are better than a average person on youtube...
luke gargarella exactly
last play... uh, Johnson could have just held the ball. They foul, they get MORE points. ?
Either way would've probably been fine, but if Magic had made 2 free throws the Blazers would've had about 2.5 seconds to attempt a 3, whereas this way they had 0.1 second to go 94 feet and tip it in, which is almost impossible. (Under 0.3 seconds a catch and shoot isn't allowed). 93-90 and 91-90 as final scores are exactly the same result, but Magic improved the odds that his team would win in regulation. Of course, if Magic had MISSED both free throws or split them, then the Blazers would've had 2.5 seconds to go the length of the floor and make a 2-point basket-- MUCH better for the Blazers than having only 0.1 seconds.
@@asterisk911 this
3:01 nice editing 👍👍
Finally a video that isnt stretched past 10min
11,7,4,3,2,1 are the only ones that were smart plays others were just lucky shots or pretty lasty plays
11 is just called walking the dog people do it all the time
6
8 was cool
I have no idea what is happening in number one
X- Burglar A guy throws it at the other end of the court to prevent the other team of scoring because he removed the ball off their possession
Number 3 was just someone who was just too quick. The defender was probably sleeping a bit.
I was at the game when number 11 happened. You can't hear it too well but the crowd absolutely LOVED IT. The place was going nuts once they got what he was doing
Great vid.
Funny, I remembered Magic's throw rolling out at zero. In fact there was a play at the buzzer. If it resulted in points Magic would have been the goat.
0:37 look at number 54 next hamlimz
Steven Adams play is what I always do xD
That's the second time it happened to Ricky Rubio. First time it was done to him by Mantas Kalnietis (it was an EU or World Champ, Lithuania vs Spain).
Number one was a little confusing, but was a smart play with the teammate purposely throwing the ball halfway to Magic, which killed a lot of time, to win the game. That play was akin to play number 11 at 1:15. God Bless.
@Berk Arslan I was just trying to explain the Magic Johnson play to those who might have been confused as I was at the time. Thats all. God Bless
3:17 Kobe travelled lol, hahahaha
Blitz Gaming ...you are watching the wrong video kid, Kobe didn’t travel.
@@CruzCM2 Put the video speed to 0.5, he took three steps.
This is not the first time this happened to Ricky Rubio, Malta Kalnietis has also does this to him when Spain played versus Lithuania, I think this was in euro champ, quite a few years ago.
I watched number 4 live and I was like “WTF HACKS!”
That play for Magic that was the first game I ever watched on TV in Australia I think on ABC I was 9 and hooked!
2:00 Blake was like "WTF is he doing?! "
yao mong did the same thing as steven adams
Petite Explication I think he put Steven Adams' because his actually worked, Yaos didnt
Yao Mong didn't do much in his career. But Yao Ming was good
Petite Explication Iii
You mean Steve Adams did the same as yao
Viibez bruh.
Nice bro
That was lit
Smartest play ever: "Just give MJ the ball."
Where was the Suns fake oop pass off the backboard?
that's exactly what I thought
EmHo how can i find that on youtube
FaZe Stripes search up nba suns fake backboard pass and click on top one
Smart isn't the right category for that, more like talent.
FaZe Stripes mkjjj
3:41 that was cool! screen, inbound, no score to make sure theres no buzzer longshot possibility. Smart play!
Steven Adams knew he was gonna air ball that free throw 😂💀
1:37 *Andre Miller* ?!?
?? yeah Andre
Never trust a nigga who made a top 10 handle list and put curry #1
Sure
Frobe Jr.
s
Awesomeness
I freaking loved the beat
Where is jason kidd as a brooklyn nets coach intentionally call his player to bump his soda inside court to get a quick official timeout that 1 smart play tho in a crucial match
Kenneth Roda This comment reminded me of the Kidd-Woodson play.
That's cheating. Not a smart play.
@@NBAFinalsMVPKyrieIrvingisBack actually is a smart play if you understand the dynamics of basketball you would know that
NBA Top 15 Luckiest Plays Ever
TheFlyingE GT lol
not all, but yes some. some other ppl are disagreeing with me
TheFlyingE GT God bless you all have a great day and Christmas!
number 4 was actually planed out
Jobie Stacy exactly
I remember I had a basketball game and we were up by a lot of points and my classmate kept bouncing the ball in one place until someone actually went to guard him
The Steven Adams one was sick!
Number 13 isnt that a play from kuroko no basket last game
I didn’t get half of these
That #2 play really was smart. I remember this one Bulls-Knicks game where Carmelo hit, like, 3 threes in a row to send it into overtime and I was screaming at Taj Gibson to foul him, but he tied it right in Taj's face and they ended up winning that game.
2:10 lucky shot haha
Where ıs LeBron 3p from antetekounmpo's back
half of these weren't even that smart... i expected some good reads and flashy passes... y'know, some Rajon Rondo type of shiz
Amolei n you just explain what those are, good reads and flashy passes. not smart. that’s just regular basketball
lm Smacking You good reads are smart plays dummy 😂
How bout Jason Williams elbow pass at number 13 I think that’s better than Rajon
Yeah
What is the intro song name pls!!
great players
I subscribed
2:33
Its out of bounce the referee didnt saw it
terrible list
Kermit The Frog agree
Kermit The Frog lol
Kermit The Frog i
Agreed
just music - sucks
Magic Johnson truly lives up to his first name in this video
1 is correct. I still remember that play to this day. I was yelling at magic for throwing the ball away. When I realized he just won the game
I agree. I remember watching that live on TV, and when Magic did that I was confused. But then it showed Magic going crazy pointing at the clock. Then I realized, he even faked the timekeeper! The timekeeper froze the clock at 2.2 seconds when it should've kept running. There should've been no time left after that brilliant move. Man, no one else has even come close to the Magic Man in any aspect of the game.
You call these smart plays smh
Jackson Llanes amen
Brandon Ly it means he’s a moron
Brandon Ly smh = shaking my head
Jackson Llanes why don't you go out and try these? 😉
What is the intro song name pls!!
magic is the goat
Magic's play at 1 was a brilliant move. Saw it live. I've never seen anyone even think to do that before or since that play, in even a meaningless game, much less in a game that cinched the Conf Finals. The clock guy was even confused because he had never seen it before either and he stopped the clock momentarily and turned it back on. He never should've stopped it, but as it played out, there was 0.1 secs left in order for the announcers to credit Earv. Adelman was pissed. He wanted a foul.
That last clip.... Adleman always got screwed by the Lakers.
😂😂😂
Dont undestand that Kobe one
The lakers lined up on the right side of the court making the hornets think that was there basket so they also lined up to defend that side then kobe ran out the other way which was actually the right basket
Said the same thing. I thought for sure it was just a basic play. I would've never guessed he would've somehow convinced the entire other 5 guys that the basket they were guarding wasnt their own.
So nothing about it was smart, the hornets just dumb asf
It was a well written play by the coach. Made the defense look dumb in that play
3:19 slow the play down and you will see Kobe caught the ball at half court, took 1 dribble and dunked it. How is that even possible?
The smartest play is to never mess with shaq
Jordan what an amazing player ❤️
What about Jason Kidd running into the opposing coach (Mike Woodson from the hawks i think) in 2011? Woodson was out on the floor and got a tech. Kidd was a genius!!
Idk which team buh they locked up every player except fir jokiem noah and when we caught it they fouled and ofc he missed both
Sickest intro ive seen in my life
I knew that dude hiding behind his coach would be on here...... lol
Amazing.....
Number 11 at 1:15 is my favorite, which should be higher at top 5 or even top 3. God Bless.
Jeffrey Keith Horne II yeah
awesome vid
Jwil though... that elbow pass is just nutz.
*big brain*
1:48 Why is there a JLooki watermark?
because he stoel the clip
Russell Westbrook that’s what I was thinking
Wtf is a Jlooki?
Greysen Gagné he’s another nba compilation youtuber
iBloxonic Capitlize the beginning letter. It's the beginning of your sentence.
Had to watch 2:21 twice xD
he scored on the wrong side?
Jason Williams was cold blooded his was number one in my opinion💯🤷🏾♂️
W’sup with all the negative comments?
All y’all some haters with no basketball i.q.
Good list, bro.
8# was an accident 1/4 of these were
What is the intro song name pls!!
So many players throughout the years stole so many ideas and innovations from Magic Johnson
I love Magic Johnson reaction at 4:10, which might be the best reaction, in my humble opinion. God Bless.
Nice
These are not really "smartest" plays....just because someone did something accidentally it's not a play man
How is it not a 5 second inbound violation?
Jorge Rodrigiez because the inbounder released the ball, and he has 5 seconds to do so
Jorge Rodrigiez
!
omg noobs, as soon as u touch it, u have 8 seconds to get it past half court. but since he never touched it, he can let it roll, its technically a loose ball when the inbounder rolls it
Dr. Zoidberg he wasn’t even talking about that though, he was saying that the player didn’t inbound it in 5 seconds, but he clearly did
oh my bad
"Top NBA Creative Plays" would be a better title
Ty Lawsons was a great one!
I dont get 2 or 3
Blackboi Henry sorry I’m late but for 3, Kobe grouped up made the other team forget which way they were going so they were defending the wrong hoop by everyone standing at the same side. For 2, Rajon Rondo, the guy who fouled realized that the other team needed a three pointer. Because of this, he fouls, knowing that they will go to the free throw line for only 2 shots, though they needed 3, eliminating the chance they can hit 3 points, .
What is the intro song name pls!!
Still dont get andre Miller fake timeout
Idk either that should be some sort of violation
Some of those are just end of game snarkiness with the game decided
when ricky davis shot on his own basket to get his tenth rebound so he can get a triple double
