Birding 101 Spring 2024 Session 1

Join Michigan Sea Grant's Elliot Nelson as he explores the wonderful hobby of birding. Over the course of four online classes we cover exciting topics that will prepare you to become a birder!
Session 1 is an introduction to birding and discusses equipment needed, how to use binoculars, and field skills to develop.
Additional sessions will discuss Backyard Birding and Feeding; Conserve the Birds: Birding Ethics and Backyard Habitats; and Birding in Michigan: Where to Go and What to See.
