Geopolitical Competition in Nepal

Realizing the need for discussions on an intensified geopolitical environment in Nepal, Center for Social Inclusion and Federalism (CESIF) organized a National Level Stakeholders’ Discussion on Geopolitics and Foreign Engagement in Nepal on September 28, 2022 at Basera Boutique Hotel, Babarmahal. The attendees of the event included politicians, bureaucrats, diplomats, journalists and reporters, and scholars of various fields.
In the course of the seminar, two major themes were discussed by two separate panels:
1. Geopolitical Competition in Nepal
2. Recent Developments in Nepal - China Relations
The theme for the first panel discussions was Geopolitical Competition in Nepal and the panelist for the session were Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Dr. Achyut Wagle, Mr. Ajay Bhadra Khanal, Ms. Apekshya Shah. The session was moderated by the Executive Chair of CESIF Ambassador Vijay Kant Karna.
