You both are such inspirations! You’ve truly found the secret to a long and loving life.
my favorite Storyteller and his beautiful wife
Yours is a perspective on Hawaii that I haven't seen before. Very cool.
Just livin' the dream. Very nice.
Looks like you will many more years...best...SV Aquila...Seattle.
Haven't seen / been on Oahu for many years... thanks to share !:)
Brilliant 👏 video 📹 Ioved watching as normal 👌 👏 I dream away live on my 36 foot steel schooner junk rig Spray called Tiedamew... We Made It... From Wales lower town Fishguard 🌈🌷🦋🦋🌎
I never tire of Hawaii. So much more than a rest stop. Much to see and enjoy! Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for sharing! Awesome channel.. God Bless 🙏♥️
Amazing video. So interesting how you two are picking up work along the way.
Looked like a great time :)
Very nice, thank you.
Nice work! Thanks for the video!
3:05 You guys are like two kids! Love it!
Hawaii looks fantastic through your eyes!
Looks like a nice place. I must say you both look very rested and relaxed. Keep the video's coming...
Thank you! You're responsible for my sailing inspiration! Wow! You are both so charming!
Cheers Jeff
Such a beautiful place shared by even more beautiful people 👍👍
Always amazing! Fair winds and following seas. Many thanks
Amazing! That water is so clear.
Happy you have friends there !!
Beautiful place but hear it’s hard on sailors visiting.
Fair winds ⛵️
Nice catboat on the sandbar. Going to work, thought yall got jobs for a minute. Your friends got some good help!!!
Hello. Great video you guys did awesome. How's life? Happy New Year!
You guys are so cool noproject beyond you 2. especialy at your Jules age.
nice
Great video. I spent 3 years in Makaha while stationed there in the Navy (81-84). The last beach before Kaena point is Keawaula Beach in Yokohama Bay. By far the best beach on the island. Awesome views of coast and not crowded. Glad to see you having a great time. Don’t forget to try the tako poke.😎
Great to see you enjoy life 🙂
That was a fun ride-along... brought back good memories. The Makapu'u lighthouse looks familiar. I flew over it, decades ago, on a tandem hang glider with local, Mike Benson. Hawaii is my favorite sandbox.
Digging the new style bikinis at the sand bar! 😁
Another fun episode! You make Hawaii look awesome! Thanks, fair winds, Andrew
Hawaii is awesome
Another great episode guys 👍
Some parts of Oahu that most folks don’t see. Thanks for the tour!
Hearing that Hawaii is becoming hard on cruisers. (?)
Great trip crossing, the pacific.
nice work on the deck, dream job
8:10 You can really see how the wind has sculpted the mountain. It looks like a gigantic wave getting ready to break.
Very nice. The island of my birth (Waimanalo). I remember going to the sandbar and being the ones there all day long. Those Kumu on the stringer are great tasting. Lots of memories sailing and diving around the island. Kaena Pt is good hike.
How long your friends live in that hale? Several of their neighbors were family friends. Long since gone. Auwe
Excellent video - thanks!
Beautiful
Too many people living in Oahu, 1 million people, way too much extremely crowded in very small island 🏝 but island it's beautiful perhaps good to visit .Thanks for sharing video .
YES!
Great video. Jules, did you mix cement and pour that footing ?
Happy few for as long as it lasts.
What do you mean by that?
You guys are incredible! When was this trip?
How long ago was this? I didn’t think the harbormaster there lets people anchor anymore?
As long as you pay the harbor fee and provide proof of insurance to the harbor master they aren't too fussy if you anchor outside the anchorage area. Thanks for watching!
Sweet Jesus😍
4:00 Hannah Barron Hawaiian style.
😀👍👍❤
👍💚
just looking at people around the boat at the anchorage looks like waist deep around the boat so 3 foot draft?
Our draft is 4.6 ft. The sandbar drops off almost vertical...thanks for watching!
Great vacation?
Not vacation. A life..
First!
On the ocean 30 years. Any sea level rise seen by you?
lol, is that a serious question?? Still lol
Yeah, at 17 second intervals.
Very little, if any evidence on the Big Island in the forty years I have been hanging out on boats. The boat ramps at Honokahau and Keahou seem exactly the same despite the fact that the 'scientists' claim that the island is sinking over a centimeter a year. Should be underwater by now.
I've been to Oahu, Maui, and Kauai.and Hawaii. . I'd never go back there. Too much like America..felt really unwelcome once you got off the beaten path
Hawaii actually IS America... Sorry to disappoint.. Perhaps you would prefer Ukraine, Russia or perhaps North Korea or even Central Mexico.... Just a few suggestions... I have many more, if necessary. I actually LOVED Oahu "off the beaten path" much more so than Honolulu itself. The Pearl Harbor Museum is an ABSOLUTE must see. If, as an American, watching the drops of bunker oil still rising from the USS Arizona and realizing that 1,102 of our sailors are still entombed there aboard doesn't literally bring tears to your eyes perhaps you'd be better off in one of the aforementioned countries. Sorry to bring politics into this, guys. I just couldn't let that comment stand though. Too much like America.... My blood pressure is up... Good Lord folks, you have no idea what you have...
Maybe the problem is you.
@@yakncast7530 Nah. Hawaii is very racist.
Too many people. Not where I’d be cruising.
I would agree with you if you went there solely to cruise but it's a good stopover for resupplying on the way from French Polynesia to the Pacific Northwest and whatever you may think, Hawaii is a beautiful place. Thanks for commenting:)
@@SailingEmeraldSteel Can't wait to see you in our neck of the woods (pnw) and for now, as we're drowning in the atmospheric river, we'll look on in envy at your tahiti and hawaii videos :)
👍👍
