I just came back 2 months ago. I guess everyone has differing point of you. Our country Afghanistan since 1949 had many political issues and it was well known that after 1967 the country fell apart. By 1978 thousands dead already. And by 1989 3 million death and 6 million refugees. The Afghans fought big powers to stay independent. Taliban are scared of independent thugs and gangs so if they catch a gang you don’t want to know what happens to them. Needless to say Afghanistan was most corrupt country in the world 3 trillion was poured into this country and now 3 years not even 3 billion. So definitely many warlords whose homes are being investigated because they stolen properties of weak people. Just imagine 3 months after the fall of kabul 2.9 billion dollar was taken out and given to warlords because they were threatened to go in front of camera. Warlord pay people to promote war crimes violence everyday.
God forbids if something goes badly for you guys who will answer? So for that reason your security was important for new government. They put men to watch certain people of certain countries since you do look different from general public. The Afghans agreed to enhance their security for until 2030 so another 6 years to go 😅. 43 years of War-thorn country drug addiction all the bad things that comes in any poor democratic country (now islamic).

Honestly Afghanistan seems fairly safe. I would consider places unsafe where there is no consequences for crime and no rule of law. Getting robbed or worse is a much larger possibility in many other countries. My only concern was getting confused for a reporter or spy lol. Even then the current government seems to really want to avoid any scandals. Felt more on edge in L.A or San Francisco suburbs walking down the road. I might be wrong

Hey bro hopefully enjoyed your trip in Afghanistan like beautiful nature delicious food friendly hospitality people,
another thing the rules and laws situation different from other countries because taliban control 😢 no any freedom no education for women and girls .
Taliban are project from ISI Pakistan and powerful western countries ,
Afghanistan for now is different from others countries you can’t compare with another neighbour countries.
More than 50 years war in Afghanistan you better understand most of powerful countries attacked in Afghanistan like England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Russia 🇷🇺, USA 🇺🇸 millions of millions Afghan people killed by this countries 😢
Local Afghan people are very strong to fight and defend their own country
    Finally fail 🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇷🇺
The big is question why in Afghanistan 🇦🇫 war ???????
Because Afghanistan has a lot of expensive minerals underground, unlimited uranium, lithium, iron, gas , gold many expensive stones.
Unfortunately from 100 years ago to now western countries and neighbours countries political intervention in Afghanistan specifically
ISI Pakistan support terrorists sending to Afghanistan,
If no war in Afghanistan off course Afghanistan is going to rich modern country
Because Afghanistan has trillions of trillions dollars expensive minerals
