I wish i found this video last year when i was having a hard time figuring out elastics. lol I could not find a video where i could easily see everything and understand how to do it. Thank you so much for clearly explaining and showing. Seeing it close up really helped. Now i can use the diaper-making supplies that i have sitting.
I’m so glad it was helpful! That was my hope when I made this, as I also struggled in the beginning with elastic and there was very few video tutorials on the subject!❤️
What are the snaps in the middle of the diaper cover for? Also, have you found a source that sells extra socket sets? The amount of sockets to to studs is very disproportionate!
The middle snaps are rise snaps so it makes it fit a wider range of sizes. I think The KAM snaps website allows you to buy just the socket or just the studs. I also find that alternating how I use them when I make diapers makes them go further. For example. Sockets usually go along the belly (using more)while studs on the wings, so instead I’d do studs on the belly area and then sockets on the wings.
It would be exactly the same as this except you wouldn’t need to leave the front open since you would have a pocket to flip it right side out. Also check out this video. ruclips.net/video/JG_mmTuGPI4/видео.html
Leah Margaret this is true. I think the elastic is what I'm most afraid of. I made some wool shorties the other day and have some longies in preparation. I am getting better at that and sewing with knits. Thanks :)

Thank you so much for this! The elastic was the step I struggled the most with, and your video made it a breeze!
So glad to hear it was helpful!

Do you have a video on how to add elastics to a pocket diaper? And how to finish sewing it?

Ty for share this video 🙂
I have always wanted to sew a diaper especially a fitted just too scared...
Go for it! Maybe start with throwaway material like old shirts or blankets just to practice. Then it’s no pressure.
