Oh man! I used to plant these flower tea! They grow like a vine..they spread around to grow! The seed comes from the dried pea..that's why its called butterfly *pea* flower! But the taste isn't that beautiful ..it tasted like leaves..i recomend using honey and lemon!

Oh I hear you. I have a hard time using up my pea tea because of how gross the tea tastes by itself, and I don't drink lemonade regularly enough to mix it with the pea tea. I haven't tried mixing it with honey and lemon juice, but something tells me the taste won't be plesant.

For those who don't know
The blue water comes from flower called "telang" in bahasa indonesia.
And when you add something with high acidity, its color changes to purple
How does it taste like?

Get some red cabbage put it in a blender get the juices from the red cabbage put some water in bc it will be a very dark blue once it gets to the light blue get lemon juice put it in and it should turn purple or pink but it’s not drinkable trust me 👀
Butterfly pea flower tea also colour shifts from blue to purple when acidity is raised (by adding the lemonade).

Well, this little blue flower contains a high concentration of a blue-violent plant pigment called anthocyanin; the color of this pigment depends on the acidity of its environment. It starts out blue, and slowly changes to purple and then magenta the more acidic its environment.

for anyone who does not know Butterfly Pea Tea is blue but when you add something very acidic like lemon juice/lemonade the change in PH causes the tea to become purple.

I’m from where I’m from this is called jasmine tea and you add lemon juice to make it purple
