The timing of you uploading this video couldn't be any better.
I've recently got into a shit situation all because I was being to nice. I was being so selfless and blind, that I put other people over MY OWN FAMILY.
I'm glad that I found this video. Here are some things that I learned the hard way:
1 Not everyone needs to "like" you. I'd rather be respected than liked by others.
2 If you're uncomfortable/scared to speak up for yourself because of what the other person/people might think or say, than your not surrounded in a good environment.
3 Remember who got you and who you have, don't trust anyone. The only 2 things you really have is God and yourself (depending on the situation then, you'll also have your family)
Here is a more easier explanation:
Let's say that life's like a rowboat. If you don't have people in your boat with the same destination, then the journey will take longer. If you have too many on your boat, then the boat will sink.
People can still sail with you, they'll just have to sail on another boat.
