The decision to edit myself in not at the very start but like 1 sec into the video might not have been a wise one :)
they really got back to the basics of the original game. im just starting out again but destroying people in my tier because nobody revenbers gun mounts and spaced armor. admittedly in t1 and t2 its not supee important but the higher you go the more you need it.
Also they fill with bots so 95% of the players you face are bots and they are not very smart. They aim for the pilot seat, not the guns (that they actually do hit guns sometimes is not due to aiming at them but due to bullet spread). So if the pilot seat is well protected you always win against the bots by simply de gunning.
@@Ketmo785 I figured that much out when you see 5 plus of the same build. though that's fine it helps with the wait times unfortunately freejam has to rebuild trust with this one. they forced to many changes on us in rc1 that people didn't want that's what ultimately led to it dieing to the point it's at now.

Yep. Rosefall was really big in RC back then.
Does triforcing work in this new Robocraft?
Right now there is only one type of weapon laser. I haven't done a lot of testing but the damage seems to be pretty straight forward so any type of damage routing is probably useless. That said, when they introduce new types of weapons with different ways of damaging robots that might of course change
it does, but it's pointless with how the laser works atm.

I’d really like for you to keep talking about the OG RC2, even if it is just in passing or like, not in every video. As some examples:
- You kept mentioning that what you build will look quite blocky. It would had been nice to have a mention that originally, that wasn’t the case.
- The OG RC2 had the ability to lock the screen. It’s gone because they “rebuilt” it. There are core features missing because of this decision.
I think people should have things like this brought to their awareness. Especially because this isn’t a case of FJ doing this once due to a rough launch, and in fact they have done something similar many, many times and could feasibly do it again.
I haven't forgot about old RC2. But I think what I most likely will do at some point is a comparison video once this one is a bit further down into development or some other type of video focused on the topic of the old RC2 rather than trying to sneak it into every video about the new RC2. I also don't know how much content I will be doing on RC2. Probably some but I most likely do more mixed type of content with several different games and since I only have time for about 1 video per week that means it will be rather limited amount of RC2 content.
