Even though there are several characters in fighting games that pay tribute to Bruce Lee, for me Fei Long from Street Fighter and the Law family from Tekken will always be his best representations.

I didnt know there was a MAX and Upper versions of this game before! (just don't know which one is better) Now that Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is happening in 2025 I cant wait to play this!
I only prefer the versions of SFA3 with the 34 characters (Evil Ryu and Shin Akuma included). It made no chronological sense adding Eagle, Maki, Yun and Ingrid to the prequel roster. Also their CvS2 sprites are mismatched with the others. What the PSP truly needed instead was Alpha Anthology.
The PS2 version of "Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper", which is initially a hidden game on the Street Fighter Alpa Anthology, is the best English language version of the game in my opinion; Mainly because of the instantly available Guile, Balrog, T Hawk and Evil Ryu, which the base Alpha 3 games either do not have, or they can only be unlocked after completing the game and meeting certain criteria. Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper was only ever released on the arcades in Japan and is therefore Japanese language. But for English language versions, some argue that the PSP Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max is better because it contains even more characters. But for me, the characters seem out of place because they were just ported from other Street Fighter or Capcom games where the art style was different, so they don't fit in well and make it look like an unpolished Mugen game; Also, despite what some people claim, the PSP version has lower sprite quality as it was designed for a small screen console instead of a large screen.
Some people would even say the Saturn version is the best, because while Japan-only, it's the most feature rich "console" port (With an Original, not Arcade, Dramatic Battle, and Reverse Dramatic Battle) and it's as close as you can get to the arcade. I would agree to that, but there's loading time, although not as bad as the PSX version, and the announcer sounds slightly muffled, which only makes it on par with the Dreamcast. Heck, the only reason I go for PSP over Saturn is because it has more modes.
Did he win an international Oscar for the Street Fighter movie nobody ever saw? 😂 Good for Bruce Lee inspired Fei-Long (except Bruce never had flames incorporated in any of his moves). Happy final Friday of May everyone 😉
It’s a custom version of Alpha 3 Upper using the arcade original as its base and adding the extra characters to that instead of it being a conversion of the Dreamcast game. You can always tell, because the ONLY versions of this to look arcade accurate in the HUD are the arcade itself and Alpha Anthology. This version like the arcade also doesn’t do transparent effects, and the dot mesh scrolls.
