- SPOUSES WELCOME BACK! I really enjoyed making this video because I get asked SO MUCH about the Q Course! Here is my take on it and how we coped through. You guys are awesome thank you so much for letting me share my experiences. My goal is that someone watches and gets the information, motivation, and help they need from these videos! We are almost 1,000 followers and all I imagine is 1,000 people sitting in front of me actually interested in what I have to say... that is MINDBLOWING! Thank you for your content and thank you to your husband for his service. I have two questions:
*What's the longest you would go without seeing your husband during the entirety of the training, and
*What's the longest you would go without seeing or talking (over phone) to your husband during the entirety of the training?
I just came across your channel and this answered a lot of questions but maybe you can help me with one question.
I am married with one kid and we are a very loving family and best friends. my dream since childhood is to become special forces but my wife doesn’t like the idea because she thinks we’ll be completely apart for a long long time and she really wants me around as much as possible which I understand and I feel the same way, but It’s destroying me inside that I’m going through life without ever attempting to go SF. If you could, what would you tell someone that is in the same situation as my wife? Thanks in advance!
I think that involving her in your research is huge, and letting her know this is really important to you could help but you have to take this step together. This was my husbands dream and I understood but it wasn’t easy. You can’t embark on this journey without her support, it’s going to be what keeps you guys going on the hard days.

Hi! I was wondering when they allow you to join your husband/PCS during the entire training time? Like is it after they graduate SFAS? Before the Q course? Thank you so much for these videos!
You PCS with them for the entire q course. So after SFAS he gets selected gets his orders and you move together. You get to choose to live on base or off base together 😊

Here is SFQC optimization chart for 18A, 18B, 18C and 18E. 18D is 9 weeks longer than the rest.
After selection, according to the SF academic handbook that is usually online, they will go to Basic Leadership Course and SF orientation before starting the Q course.
It can be a few months after selection to a matter of weeks before you actually to to the Q after selection. There are also many opportunities to get dropped in the interim. They have Many PT tests with higher standards than selection and gates before each phase
