As a technician, I cringe thinking of people repeatedly hitting that electrical conduit with a med ball. Besides that I love these drills and I'll be sure to incorporate them weekly.
First medicine ball ruclips.net/user/postUgkxsg8rI-i6ePWRkhrp_UHScmUIKozMa9uU that I have ever owned. So far so good, it's very easy to hold on to with workouts I do with it, although I do wish though I would have ordered a heavier one, the ones at the gym I used to go to must have been overweight because this one felt pretty light compared to those that said they were also 8 pounds. Great product though, I love it and plan on keeping it for a while at least until I need a bigger one
Amazing, many thanks! How would you apply these forms to cardio training , like what weight for how many minutes per exercice?Im currently using a basket ball ,so the rebound makes it no-stop, to do 2-3 minutes rounds, any advice ?
These are amazing . I have put some ideas these in my workout. Seriously the best core workout for me. I only have a 20 #med ball so I have been using it. Love it . Thanks for the help.
I use a 4lb ball for speed power and distance.. a 10lb for all types of slams. And a tire for power and strength I do overhead throws slams and one arm rotational throws with a spin start like discuss.. I switch up here and there but I’ve been focusing on using the 4lber for the speed and progress comes faster I don’t do the shot put anymore because it bent my hand back badly and feels awkward I don’t think it’s necessary as long as you have punching technique all the other exercises are good enough
Daru do you think doing low resistance "power" exercises aka ballistics like medball thows provide any value for improvements in explosive strength (such as RFD) as well as power ? Or are they best used for putting your increased RFD and power (from loaded dynamic effort resistance strength training) to use in a more "real life" motor pattern so that one understands how to transfer the power into a life (sport) specific skill ?
Phil the goat💯 Question though, you said males should use 10-12 lbs, if I only have a 20lb one can I keep using that or is it going to end up being counter productive?
Perfect for upper body dynamic effort. Should the variations be chosen by specificity or simply use all variations at different times to avoid accommodation? Thank you for info, Phil.
Well, I agree that a lot of it its genetics. But you can improve your punching power, my strikes became way more powerfull after I started training my explosive strenght
1:40 , 3:25 , 4:33 , 5:55 , 7:25 , 8:20

Phil, with the med ball rotation throw, do you want a slight pause at 12 o'clock through the arc? - Phillip Paul, ATC.

Hey Phil do you know what brand that is for the ball!
how many sets and reps?
Phil what brand and type of ball do you use in video.
What if it’s 3kg and you still go all out force? It’s lightweight but what matters isn’t the force you drive through?
What should be weight of ball
Can I do every exercises in the same session? How many rounds and repeat?
This is Super!
Is there benefit for using smaller but same weight med ball ?
Phil the goat💯
Question though, you said males should use 10-12 lbs, if I only have a 20lb one can I keep using that or is it going to end up being counter productive?
The point is to be as fast and explosive as possible with 20 pounds it may be hard for you to get that explosive nesss
What brand med ball do you use ?
Can you kick removed from gym for throwing the ball at wall?
Hello
How much of ko power do you think is genetics????
Perfect for upper body dynamic effort. Should the variations be chosen by specificity or simply use all variations at different times to avoid accommodation? Thank you for info, Phil.
Honestly could be both
So 6kg max? What’s the highest you would recommend
Awesome! :-D More like this! ^^
Odd question Phil, what shoes are you wearing? Great routine by the way.

Hi Phil, newbie question here - is it ok if your throwing arm elbow locks out? Is that ok on the elbow joint or harmful? Thank you
Keep your elbow up when you lock out.
are you a fighter or something? are we able to watch your fights somewhere?
Do a quick search I’ve been coaching fighters for over 15 years was a pro fighter for 8

10lb
Awesome. Osu
I got a 17lbs medball, is it too heavy for a bantamweight?
yes
Yes it is. I dont think you should use more than 10 lbs
6 kg \13 lbs is still on the range for a male?

City have yet to face our full squad. Imagine City going 1/2 the season without Haaland or KD….🤦♂️
Nick.... mmmhmmm smh 🤦🏼♂️ we know that herb dean Broski come on
I know this is to help with Knockout power. Tho knock out power is genetic. You have it or you don't
Just for the algorithms don’t take it literal
Well, I agree that a lot of it its genetics. But you can improve your punching power, my strikes became way more powerfull after I started training my explosive strenght
Lol so what? You can still improve it a lot.
Why does this belief still exist? Sure some people are natural born power punchers but it can absolutely be trained.
