As a life long RC enthusiast myself I have had (and still have) a lot of different RC toys. I am into all electric now just because of the power and ease of use. I have had several gasoline and nitro powered trucks and boats. I love these new scale engines but with all the technology, why are they still using the same carburetors that have been used for decades? The same ones you see on the 2 stroke gas engines which are basically the same as you get on a weed wacker. Why not fuel injection or at least more realistic carbs on these precision scale engines?

Hello and thanks for your interest in the Chuan Qi V12 MCU. The Black box is actually the MCU (short for Motor Control Unit), also known as an ECU. It handles all spark, timing advance and ignition functions for the engine itself! It tells each coil when to fire each individual spark plug throughout a range of variable conditions.
