Best version I’ve found today . Not rushed, each phrase has a direction . The Knights are a pleasure to listen to. I enjoyed watching them live and even performing with them while at UGA. Lots of fun and good music.
Praise the Lord and thank the Catholic Church for this spectacular hymn!

🙋♂️ Greetings from *Valencia* ! Gloria in D major rv 589 by *Vivaldi* , performed by the Knights and the *San Francisco* Girls' Choir ... it's wonderful, thank you so much for sharing it 👏👏
The Gloria in D major RV 589, commonly called « Vivaldi's Gloria » due to its great popularity, is a work of sacred music by the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi probably composed around 1713 because the Ospedale della Pietà Institution in Venice was temporarily deprived of a choir director and had to ask him to occupy this position. The Maestro began to produce sacred music in profusion. Musically, between counterpoint and bel canto, the writing is very varied and successful as in the introductory chorus or the duets between sopranos. Among the twelve sections making up this work, three of them are written for soloists, whose « Laudamus te » a duet for soprano and alto. The musical session is given for the first time by around forty musicians at the Salle des Filarmonici of the Ospedale della Pietà. It is a jovial composition, one of the Venetian composer's most successful works. After the author's death, the rediscovery of Vivaldi took place a few decades later, by some erudites of Johann Sebastian Bach, who has adapted and transcribed more of Vivaldi's works than any other musician. However, Vivaldi's real recognition took place during the first half of the 20th century with musicians such as Marc Pincherle, Olga Rudge or again Angelo Ephrikian. It was not until 1939 that this famed piece was finally performed by composer and pianist Alfredo Casella in Siena, Italy. *Lucien*
Stucchevole l'esecuzione del coro totalmente femminile!!!!!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏... nonostante non vi fossero voci maschili... Come davvero bella l'esecuzione dell'orchestra!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
perfect choir, this voices are angels, excelent. male voices sounds like humans, female voices sounds like angels, and they look like anges too, i hope never change their beauty to reggae stlyle or rasta choir halleluja, because CLASSIC ART AS VIVALDI MUSIC DESERVES TO BE REPRESENTATED AS THEY ARE CLASSIC ART I MEAN BEAUTIFUL ANGELS
Perfect Tempo! Well done to the Conductor & Choir!
