Dont starve/dst has the best learning curve of any game imo. It utilises trial and error and each season teaches you about what to prepare for the next season. For example, when fighting deerclops in the winter, is negative sanity aura almost guarentees that you go insane while fighting him. If you overcome the sanity drain, it prepares you for spring which is all about messing with your sanity. And the eyeball is the ingredient for the best spring item in the game.

Honestly if you’re looking for some challenging survival games, I personally recommend Day Z, it’s hard and it’s grueling, but once you can get the hang of the mechanics (or the lag depending on what server you play on) it’s a super fun game, so if you like zombie survival games with multiplayer I highly recommend picking it up.
Well, if you know how to cook in the pot your food suplies are pretty big I mean, 3 pieces of Ice (easy to find and mine) and 1 monster meat (just find a single spider and start to tank him (he won't even hurt you) and you have meatballs (62.5 hunger 5 sanity 3 Hp) I can say that summer is a PAIN if your base isn't on the oasis OH and one thing (berries and stuff grow in winter, just like in 15 days) but thats no the point, potatoes even LIKE winter so if you have a basic farm you can have them (20 hp with a cooked one) (ALSO in winter you need to water the plants LESS) Also one lifehack: If you don't collect berries/carrots/anything else it won't rot So if you know some tricks you can make life easier (get like 40-80 ice and throw it into the ice box like in the start of Spring because ice doesn't break in ice box))

Try getting blue roses in animal crossing new horizons… without… time skip, getting roses that have the color blue on them without time skip takes a simple 5 hour journey into several weeks. I get it isn’t survival. But still.

don't starve together is actually easier in some ways, if you play solo you can keep the run if you have seen a touchstone, applies to normal don't starve too but you touch it while alive still
You really should try don't starve together! It's basically the sequel to don't starve It's also the best multiplayer game because when you buy it on steam it it gives you an extra copy you can give to a friend and all DLCs are free If you just put in enough hours (DLC as in extra characters that you have to either play the game for or spend money for)

As a fear and hunger fan, both of the games are EASY compared to don't starve. In f&h the hunger bar means nothing as well as the sanity bar. Also nothing happens when your sanity is low exepct when it reaches zero. Getting really op earlly is also not a chalange.
