I love this song but christ almighty, the vocals suck live... Seemed to have rattled a few jimmies with this comment. I'll explain, when an artist releases a song, that gives you an expectation of what the song is supposed to sound like. Now understandably, nobody will ever sound like a flawless studio recording when singing live, but a good act will get pretty damn close to it. I don't know if it's just this song or what (I only like 2, maybe 3 Raconteurs songs) but Jack White doesn't even get close to the vocals in ANY live performance that I've watched of this song, I thought maybe it was just a bad day at the office but every video he actually sounds like he's in agony when singing. If you like it, great, I won't judge. I'm allowed to dislike something just as much as you're allowed to like it without being ridiculed for it. Also to the guy who was apparently misogynistic towards me, did I hurt your feelings because I think your favourite song is shit live? This is actually part of my "Chill" playlist, I listen to far heavier shit than a fucking Indie Rock band.
@Kurt Cobain She's kinda right. Jack's pitch has been bad in a bunch of live videos I've watched. I mean its not Andrew Stockdale on the first 3 Wolfmother album tours bad, but its still rough. Its because on bigger venues and like thousands of people screaming its kinda hard to hear yourself onstage. On smaller venues he's okay.
@Kurt Cobain This is so fun, I can't hear because my heads in the middle of 250 speakers and I'm gonna be deaf by 50 but this is fun. Also you're making an assumption that because she A: is a woman B: Is young and looks like she's into pop and C: you don't like that; that she thinks she wants it to sound like the record. You can't possibly sound good on both, its either one or the other right?
salute your solution....

@Kurt CobainI mean some people listen to the music, and some people get smashed (internally and externally) and do lines. Matter of preference.
