Hi I’m a newbie love your hair! I started graying when I was 18 years old so I never got into the color dye or anything like that I’ve been natural since 09 and since I did that my hair is as long as yours so it’s nice to see other people with long hair like mine and like you getting compliments on your hair I do as well but I’ve always liked my gray never bothered me my problem now is that my hair is so heavy that it’s not holding the curl like it used to. I’m going to look up those satin rollers I bought some of those rollers from the dollar tree I was gonna try them out on my hair figured the less hair the smaller the curl maybe it will hold better. Blessings to you 😊
Hello and welcome! What a wonderful problem to have! I love my long hair and I want it longer, but I know it will just take time. Let me know how the satin rollers work for you. I didn't know they had them in the dollar store until recently. I could have saved me a little money. 😊 Blessings to you also!
@@silvercurlszelda my initial thought was that those larger perm rod curlers you used would better accommodate your hairs length. I’m totally impressed with your technique using the soft rollers. How long did the curls last before they started to fall?
@@thatwildethunderchild392 they held up until the evening when my husband came home. I wanted him to see that so it lasted a good 3 hours and then I noticed it was hanging more straight. I rolled it up in the evening and it stayed rolled up the next day loosely.
Hi Zelda! I hope your new year has been shaping up just the way you want it! Your roller set curls look very pretty - so beautifully silver and healthy too! 😍🙌🏾
This is so smart!! I was twisting my hair in bantu knots after revving each section to put a wave in it, but I would never have thought to use rollers!
I am glad, that I came across your channel. I have being going gray for over 30 years now. Try different things to deal with my long, salt and pepper hair. People always say they love it and how beautiful it is. But I hated it, until I realized no matter how much I dye it. It wasn't going to keep it from turning gray at the roots and around the edges in two weeks. So it is what it is. But your funny and enjoyable to watch!
Hi Loletha! Thank you so much! I tried to add a little humor into things that may not or cannot be changed! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you come by again!
Zelda, your hair is beautiful! My hair is straight and doesn't hold curl very long at all. This is Mrs B (Brenda), I think you've been chatting with "Auntie" on our channel. Thank you for being so supportive, we youtubers need to stick together! I love how you're always so cheerful.🥰
Hi Mrs B! I thank you so much for stopping by and leaving that wonderful comment! When my hair is straight it only lasts for a couple of hours and then it goes back pretty straight it was so great to have hair that was not getting completely Tangled after doing nothing! Hahaha!
Hi Zelda! I tried to post earlier but there’s something wrong with the app. It wasn’t letting me. Just wanted to tell you that your hair looks beautiful and love your curls. It was interesting what happened the first time (same would probably happen to me) but love that you didn’t give up and gave it another try and you were going to keep trying until something worked! Great video! ❤️
@@silvercurlszelda Hi Zelda, I was planning to but my senior dog, Cliff, is very sick (and won't be here with us much longer)so I am spending all my extra time by his side. I have a few videos that I recorded and edited so I will be posting those during the next couple weeks but don't think I will be able to think clearly to be able to record videos for the month. I look forward to your 10 am videos and your giggles which always bring a smile to my face.
@@GrayHairTransitionandBeyond I'm so sorry to hear that! Yes you do need to take time off from RUclips if you need to. It will always be here for us! Take care and God bless!
How great to find you. I have a Revair and those exact same soft rollers. I don't have as much grey as you and have been debating getting my grey colored. You're inspiring me to try letting it stay grey, at least a bit longer. My hair is about 6 inches shorter than yours. How long did it take you to reach this length from the time it was just shoulder length? Also, do you put pomade/oil on your hair/scalp at any point? It sounds like you just had a heat protectant spray on.
Hi! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a reply. I stopped coloring and relaxing my hair a little over 8 years ago and I have cut it Off to the scalp 8 years ago and have cut about six to eight inches off over the years. I usually will cut my hair once or twice a year. I do not use any pomade on my hair when I use the Revere. The only thing I used was my heat protectant and a leave-in conditioning mist by Cantu. I am very afraid of getting heat damage so I could not go without the heat protectant and my hair is very dry so I wanted to use a little bit of leave-in. Thanks for asking.

Hi robin! Yes I'm having a great day! I hope you are too!
The smaller soft curlers worked like magic! 💫 That style turned out really nice Mrs. Zelda 😊
Hi!!! Thank you so much. They did and they were much more comfortable!

Good morning beautiful Zelda ☕🖐🥰 I can't seem to find any rollers for my hair let alone some to sleep in. They just glide right out again 🙈
Hi Pia! I picked up the satin rollers off of Amazon... My second home🏠 LOL 😂
@@silvercurlszelda satin glides out of my hair within minutes 😅 so they don't work..
@@Makeupbypiaw what about sponge rollers? They have a little bit of grip to them and if you tie it down with the scarf it might stay.
