Each story, tale and part of series all entertaining to the max, so thanks Derek and know this listener loves each and every one and waits for each new one
Hey Derek ! I have two more ideas. I love the Florida location because that's where I'm from. Idea one. Tales from the first night. But at Disney world or universal studios. Second idea. Mini series In South Florida there's a town called homestead there's an Air Force base there and about 30 minutes away in the everglades there's an actual abandoned NASA facility (Google areojet road Dade county) and it has the world's largest solid rocket booster still in an underground silo the idea is a group of soldiers and engineers fight there way through homestead and then the swamp with its wildlife 🐊 with a possible cure vial with no more safe functional labs they set up a small survivor camp for a few wanders that find the facility while the engineers get the rocket ready for launch to send a select few to a secret biological lab module attached to the international space station. (How it ends is up to you). Thanks for the read
I like the idea of having an outbreak at a theme park (might have to be generic, because I think by just typing the word Disney it means I now owe them $3.50). And I've always stayed away from a "cure" because at this point in the outbreak it wouldn't do a whole lot. now a zombie bio-weapon, that's something that could be fun to play around with. I appreciate the ideas!
Thank you so much! Yeah I'm going to REALLY be getting into the shades of grey coming up in a couple of weeks when I start a Militia series, showing things from their Point of View. I'm trying my best to make this series as realistic as possible, with real characters making choices that would be made if this really happened. Glad you're enjoying it!
Let’s hear it for this author!!!🎉 I have been following this author for a very short time and I consider myself abit of a ZA Aficionado. Hands down one of the greats and very authentic in his descriptions of the military POVs. As a former operator myself, this is very accurate and helps add more realism to the stories. Now, if only I could arrange some sort of collaboration hahaha Thanks again Derek!
I honestly thought their former captain & his squad were going to be the antagonists in this one, surprised it wasn't & really surprised to see them mention another stadium, I guess that makes 3 now in this series so far, the Carolina panthers stadium, Atlanta falcons stadium & now I'm presuming the Tampa Bay buccaneers stadium?
Sometimes it's just gotta be about humans vs zombies, haha. And so far in the series the stadiums that have been included/mentioned have been: Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, Cincinnati (main series book 15), and Seattle. I believe the full list of stadiums was mentioned in the first Presidential meeting, but there are 18 in total scattered across the country. Charlotte, Seattle, Vegas, Atlanta, Philly, Indy, Tampa, Denver, Louisville, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Sacramento, Memphis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Albuquerque
@DerekSlatonHorrorAuthor yeah you can't go wrong with human vs zombies, that's always great. Oh wow I gotta listen to that audiobook where they mention those all.
I'm pretty sure it's at the end of the first Portland book, although I could be mistaken. Sorry, I crossed over 2.5 million words in the series, so some of the stories run together after a while, haha.
Point State Park in Pittsburgh would be a defendable redoubt that could be resupplied via river, like the old days. Those Yinzers are tough and resourceful people; they could survive the ZA no problem.@@DerekSlatonHorrorAuthor
That would be fantastic, thank you! When you sign up, you'll be able to listen/watch all the upcoming videos I have uploaded. usually there will be a couple up there as i try to run a week ahead of schedule.
Hi Derek how you doing brother, l can't say your writing gets better as I've always thought it was amazing as is your narrators over the years.a lot of the fans are saying the same as me, that you deserve lots more subscribers, hope your family is well, breathe easy man, Gary from Glasgow Scotland 🎉
Hey Gary! Things are going great, just got my home office finally set up, and today is the first day writing in it. And hopefully I can start having those subscribers rolling in! Hope you're doing well!
Tip: if you thought of a place that would have no people, a few dozen others have as well, and some of them brought someone who is infected so they can all wait for the government to get things under control and said infected can be cured
Lakeland is about 40 miles north of where I live, the only boats there are lake boats; it's way too far from the Gulf, although they might be able to make it there if they go underneath Tampa Bay and put in in Manatee County. Maybe lol.
Sir. You are amazing. Thanks for sharing this with us. It must get loud in your head 😅. Let it out ! Maybe a little bit of gator action in the near future?
You are very welcome! And yes, very, very loud in the head, haha. It helps sitting at the keyboard all day typing away. and I have big plans for Florida, in true Florida Man fashion!
@@DerekSlatonHorrorAuthor It's a well used premise but it can be taken in countless directions, that somehow had a fresh tone. That could easily be Chapter One.
@@nicholasmchughes664 sir. This man is an amazing writing machine. There will be more of this series. And there already is a lot of other people and places. 😊

Cool. Florida is one of those places that I wish I had another life to explore and get to know.
I've been to Florida enough with my last job to know I'd never survive living there, haha.

I would think the Air Force would be tearing up those zombies
Maybe in an initial assault. But the upkeep and fuel would become an issue after too long. No supply lines
