- This is 13 YEAR OLD Max Huerta's FIRST qualifying flight at the US Scale Masters SoCal Qualifier held in Hemet California 12-14 July, 2024.
Max is flying a very nice Top Flite Spitfire powered by a DLE-55 engine. As you can see, Max flew a very skillful, disciplined flight routine and made it look easy!
I STILL can't believe how well that young man handled that Spitfire on takeoff, AND landing. A VERY tricky and difficult ground handling airplane for sure.
