It's nice to get to see a mature, caring side of Venti rather than the one guzzling dangerous amounts of alcohol and doing probably not the most smart of decisions.

More like horrible secret? We don't know if Archon's evil or whatever but surely most of them suck at their job thanks to their prior or current issue that lead them to some emotional distressed (I didn't play Dendro archon quest yet so this judgement is base on first three archons). But anyway, they have obligated to either don't know or seal their mouth about Celestia

we don't know why he slept, whether to recover his energies or not

in khaerin'ah he was NOT in the middle of the battle inside khaerin'ah but in mondstadt where he was needed helping dvalin with the durim and then fell asleep because of the power outage
zhongli is not a bad archon we know he can't talk about what happened under oath to heaven
but it's more than clear that he also had losses and his wanting to retire after all this doesn't make him a bad god as he consequently said that if lyure couldn't handle it without him he would return to his archon post
I don't think it's right for you to say that they hide ""terrible secrets"" when genshin made it very clear who knows about khaerin'ah
that khaerin'ah is not a victim

i love venti sm. i wanted to get him for his rerun sm till the fact i wrote his name a 100 times on a piece of paper. ofc it didn't work but i got 2 sayu's which was good enough for me but i rlly do hope venti's next rerun will be next year at least but i would probably still be drawing him forever even if he's not coming home cuz i know venti will want to go to other players homes!
