    That looks really really nice. However, for me, I spend most of my life sitting down and it looks like I wouldn’t be able to pull the pistol out from a sitting position and would have to stand up to get it out. So if I want my pistol available when I get into the car to a sitting position I would have to take it out of my holster outside of the car where everybody can see it before I get into the car. Or if I am sitting in a restaurant and some crazy shooter comes in I would have to bring attention to myself by standing up just to pull it out.
    Other than that, I think this is a wonderful wonderful concealed carry holster

    director: alright for this shot it's supposed to be a standoff so after a few seconds i want you to say "draw
    cowboy 1:"dra- wait wheres his gun?"
    cowboy 2: "here" *opens his urban concealed carry holster*
    cowboy 1:"how the hell did you do that?"

    I like those holsters that just drop in your pocket. You only need one hand. I slide my revolver into the holster and drop them both into a front pocket. When you grab the pistol handle it just comes right out--there is enough resistance from the holster and the inside of the pants pocket that the holster stays in the pocket and only the pistol; comes out. The you can just put the pistol back into the holster that is still in the pocket as it was in the beginning and then you are ready to go again.

    Looks good, but here in Australia, it is illegal to own a side arm, unless you are are a security guard or Police Officer. If you belong to a pistol club, you can purchase certain types that relate to competitions that are run. You normally have a probation period before the license is granted, then you have to partake in a set number of shoots per year. You are only allowed to carry the firearm to and from the range. You have things easy in the US, fight like mad to keep your rights.

    I saw it right away... you really need a less fitted shirt. I have seen those b4 , and seems like they are possibly more comfortable, but I want the gun above the belt. As it has been so long now the corners are worn smooth. The size and thickness is key.
    Good topic and perfect length vid !

    Well, I definitely liked the holster, but I am wondering if they have bigger size options! And I have another concern: it is essentially a leather holster, so won’t it chaff the skin during the hot, humid days?

    I work in an office and it doesn't look good for me to have my shirt hanging out, so I keep it tucked in. This has made it difficult for me to carry, except in my pocket. When I saw this I had to try it. I've had mine for about a week now. A few things about this product. This product will not work with those who are really overweight. I'm about 20 lbs overweight and it works but the heavier you are the more difficult it will be for you to pull out. I normally carry a S&W bodyguard 380, and carry it in my pocket. However I also carry my M&P shield 9 mm and that is too big for my pocket. There are pros and cons to this product. I believe that you can pull out a 380 out of your pocket a little more quickly. I have 2 urban carries, one for my 380 and another for my 9 mm. Carrying my 380 this way is great in that it completely disappears, often in my pant pocket you can still see it. The holster for the 9 mm is also very good for concealment. I'm not sure how a larger firearm will work. I also think you have to be realistic about pulling out your firearm with this holster. Never, try to pull it out when a bad guy is looking at you with a gun, you'll be dead. If he looks away or is distracted you got a chance. I think you have to give this a 3 count. "One" grabbing the handle and pulling it out. "Two" pulling your firearm out and "three" aiming and firing. I can do it in quick 2-3 count, any faster and you run the risk of making a mistake and also drawing attention to yourself. Is it worth it? Yes. As long as your not too overweight, don't try to put a colt 45 down your pants, and your realistic about the drawing speed. Hope this helps.

      That helps a lot. Thanks for taking the time to share the feedback. I have had some issues with this holster when sitting in my truck and and it wedging between thigh and abdomen. How is it for you when you are seated?

  • @scparmy
    @scparmy 8 лет назад

    Appears to be a good design on the holster. My concern is how much it might be an irritant on the thigh when sitting. I am thinking one might print big time.
    My only other comment has to do with the S&W Bodyguard. The .380 Bodyguard is very hard on the trigger finger and the webbing between the thumb and pointer finger. I have struggled to keep an accurate shot group when firing this weapon. There isn't enough enough butt stock and large enough spring to absorb the recoil. I know this comment is off topic, however, do you have the same experience when firing the Bodyguard?

  • @burtmaclin7204
    @burtmaclin7204 6 лет назад

    I've used mine for a little over a year with both a G23 and now my S&W shield. I do not recommend this holster as a general purpose carry holster because from my experience drawing from the urban carry can be quite a hassle sometimes and you don't want that to be a factor in a life or death situation.
    The problem I've encountered is that often times it takes two hands to draw the weapon from the holster. One hand (off-hand) is needed to pull up on the magnetic catch to bring the gun out as is demonstrated in this video but your other hand (primary grip hand) is also needed sometimes to pull on your beltline so that the gun will actually come up and out without having the gun get stuck on your belt (I'm a skinny guy too - 5'8 140lb). This adds quite a bit of precious time to your draw.
    That being said it can fill a specific niche in your holster lineup. I use mine solely for carrying discreetly at work because this holster undoubtedly conceals pistols better than anything else I've ever used and is therefore my only realistic option for carrying concealed at work especially in the summer when you aren't wearing hoodies and bulkier clothes that help conceal a waist carry.

    So, I heard that the holster has a slot on the back for your carry permit. What idiot thought that was a good idea?
    LEO: License and registration, please.
    Driver: Sir, I am armed with a handgun and I a possess a valid carry permit.
    LEO: Okay, let me take a look at your carry permit.
    *Driver pulls out the holster to retrieve permit*
    *LEO shoots driver*

    The question I have is can it be drawn with one hand? There might be a time when you only have one unoccupied to draw with. If that is possible it is a great design.

      Chris Wolford. Don't. It's a gimmick piece of shit. Google the reviews on it and if you wanna see a real review of it, type in "urban carry Florida gun store" in the RUclips search bar. People fell for this holster because of the commercial...."like the footsteps of a navy seal" give me a fucking break. Go to bravo concealment, NSR tactical, raven concealment or Vedder for a real holster. You'll find everything you need at any one of those companies.

    I don't recommend anyone keeping their ID or permit in that card holder. If a police officer asks for your ID and you have to reach for your gun holster to get it. It'll make them very uncomfortable and nervous in that situation.

I originally discovered your channel when I was looking at reviews I believe on ARs and I liked that "real" review to and of course your sweeties eye candy is nice. FWIW, I originally thought that your wife was in her late 20s and was thinking wow, she looks great now, I hope she knows to take care of herself. When I found out her chronological age, well, she does know how to take care of herself, and she has great jeans/genes too. Also she is a sweetie too, nice combination. You both are blessed and thank you for your often humorous and informative videos, ie fixing the washing machine and your car buying adventures for instance. Keep them coming!

    Hey thanks for reviewing that. I was just looking at those and am interested in them, so I'm glad you showed us. I hope you can do an update in a few weeks (once you've spent more time with it). It's tough to get something comfortable, concealable and one that you can trust to be secure. Of the few different ones I have that sit at or below the waist, none are comfy or easy to use while sitting (especially in a vehicle) and none of them has earned my trust or my confidence that they will hold the weapon securely in a violent situation.Thanks again Exo! -T

    Put your concealed carry permit in a hidden holster.. That's a bad idea. Say an officer asks for ID, and for your permit to carry, and you whip a holster out of your pants, and the first thing the cops sees is you pulling a gun up. You're going to get shot. Smarter to just keep it in your wallet

    I don't see why anyone would need to leave their shirt out to cover that holster. It looks like an ordinary belt pocket and not a holster for a firearm. That might be a holster that conceals so deep that you can actually tuck in your t-shirt. Maybe I'm missing a legal point here, but I could walk down the street with that an nobody would notice even if the top were exposed.

    You need two hands to draw the weapon. That's not good! And shooting people with a .380 is only slightly better than nothing at all. People get really mad when you shoot them with a .380! Most gun fights happen within 5 feet or less, and in less than 5 seconds! A man with a knife that is 21 feet away, will reach his target 100% of the time. That is based on police department tests. You may win the fight, but you are going to get stabbed in the process. On the average, it will take a trained person 1.5 - 3 seconds to draw, get a front sight picture and shoot. And that's if you are good!
