Yeah it’s like combining Warframe and its wiki built in lol , also how the first descendant you get after your starter one they show you how to make it AND it only takes 1 min to build , just that one but it pulls you in , and to make it even better, now Mastery Rank 24 hours barrier
@@confusciouspuff1013 server lag is annoying agreed, hopefully they address cash shop issues. We just gotta not buy shit from em. Its funny, im currently grinding for Ult Gley. I got two crystallization catalyst without meaning too lol. They also added the materials to missions if you dont wanna do vaults. Thankfully, but vaults are still the best way to farm em.
The Warframe codex tells you were to farm relics, and mousing over materials in the Foundry gives you a tooltip where to find those too. Really shows how people either didn't give Warframe a chance at all, or who haven't kept up on recent changes.
I got on the Energy Activators. It started as just 1 or 2. -What could go wrong, I thought? Everybody needs a boost - yeah, that’s it. -> Games would never hurt me….now, I’m in so deep that I owe $10,000 to a loan shark named Fat Tony.
Unlike Warframe i don't need to keep a wiki open and alt tab frequently to see where i should grind for items. It straight up tells you where to go and what to do.
@@RedShadowOfSaturn no warframe doesn't u need to grind relics wich give only 1 part of the parts u need to make a prime frame u can get the normal frames from just doing the story but it get hard and u will need to use guides
@@TheJarlath9 First of all, the relics LITERALLY have a database in the game to tell you exactly where they drop, and what they contain, like, even that aspect doesn't hold up. Sorry. Second, normal Frames don't all come from "story." A few do. And not only does each Warframe's page TELL you where and how to get them, the market page now gives you a message saying "look at a Frame's page to see where they come from." Could not be more clear. Yes, an 11 year old game has moments when it's just easier to look at a wiki because it takes you directly to the answer you need. Fair enough. There's still several metric tons of answers in the game. But hey... People really like narratives. And when those narratives are proven wrong, they uh...they get a little testy. It's okay.
Good for you !!!👏👏but at least for me it’s too much time grinding and honestly takes the fun out the game !!This is coming after I grinded for 8 hrs trying to get electric condense unique for bunny !! With no luck 😔but I am trying to enjoy it for the most part !
im a grinder also with 2k hours in gta 5 online. but in this game rng doesnt feel rewarding because i’ve been farming ulti bunny for 6 days now (almost 80 hours on steam) and haven’t got any drop. i’ve gotten more 1.2% transcendent drops than 6% drop.
@@nappy4617 I just farmed Ultimate Bunny in a single day farming the recon nodes with Sharen for the extra loot and opening all the amorphous materials with void fusion ractors. Of course your mileage may vary, but with the shape stabilizers you go from 6% to 10% and suddenly it's not that bad. That said, you can and WILL get shafted by RNG sometimes, same happened to me in Warframe back in the day and I really don't feel it's that much different in TFD.
I grinded for like 8 hrs 1 day didn't get any ultimate bunny parts. The next day I got 2 in a hour the rng can be rough but if you enjoy the gameplay just play for fun and you will get it focusing too hard on one thing can demoralize you if the luck is bad go run some missions to chill then go back for a few rounds people try to hard to get everything to fast and end up not enjoying the game anymore because they are to focused on one thing. That said I can easily understand the stress and struggles of people who aren't used to playing f2p games and if you spend at least the stuff you buy you know you get unlike gatcha game mechanics of pay for rng
Im about 80 hours in, the only thing ive bought is the battlepass and ultimate gley because i wanted to support the devs after such a great hotfix and communication. I have beaten all hardmode bosses except molten and frost walker. I have valby, bunny, viessa, gley, sharon, enzo, lepic, and ultimate bunny. Ive managed to get 2 reactors and 10 catalysts from farming. Ive been pretty efficient on my grinding and waited to do most of it til hard mode because drop rates are way higher. I have gotten very lucky in some regards (ultimate bunny and the 2 reactors i got while farming perforator which i still dont have. Ive only crafted like 5 legendary weapons (2 come from story) ive also gotten something like 20 transcendent mods from drops and a majority of the other mods.
I love people like you trying to justify to everyone and even yourself that you spent money to support the devs lol. You spent stupid amount of money on a skin. Thanks for contributing to the problem of mtxs being infested into almost every game now. Real gamers thank you, we were tired of only spending 60 bucks and getting a fully developed game.
@jerodfarmer165 it'll be OK buddy, I hope whatever is causing you pain and to be so upset with the world passes positively and you can start enjoying life for what it is instead of trying to attack other people.
Been having fun and have spent money in the shop. The gameplay loop is tight and the missions are varied. Totally love that you can pivot to other activities while chasing something else so not as much frustration.
I played for 14 hours and enjoyed the game so I gave them $20 and picked up Enzo to support my friends. More than a little annoyed at the price break points but dont regret buying Enzo. As it stands I have 5 descendants at 50ish hours. Just broke into hard mode.
the activators are basically reactors from warframe and the catalysts are forma from warframe as well and those are like a couple dollars irl money but they have a trading system for it so its not that hard to get so seeing 20$ and 6$ for something like that is ridiculous
It's funny because when i'm playing with my friends, i keep refering to them as Catalysts/Formas, but they have no idea what they are because they never played Warframe... lol
Just a heads up they did say that are adding a trading system later but they want to get some bugs fixed first before they just add new stuff. Nexon is doing 10x then any other company rn with how fast their patching/fixing and already have plans for this whole year of content
@@collynjohnson2220 yes i do agree their communication and getting stuff out is great BUT this doesnt take away from the fact that their store prices are outrageous not being able to use colors on your base skin for customization having to rebuy colors for use on other skins/even a different headpiece is insane to me i just think they're shop is really not worth it besides maybe their boosters to cut down on some grinding but as someone who's used to warframe's customization and destiny's this really blows
Hello Abby! I'm 65 hours in, FTP, and have 5 descendants unlocked! Hoping to get gley soon just gotta GRIND! Loving the content, hoping to see more The First Descendant content soon!
Having Descendants unlocked is the tip of the iceberg unless it is just an Enzo that you are going to use to vault farm. Took me a total of 17 hours to farm for Energy Activators and i only got 2 for all my time. i'd say if you want to unlock and play 1 chr in endgame your looking at close to 100 hours minimum just to get say 5 module sockets added and 1 energy activator. Oh and dont forget just cause you farmed it doesnt mean you get to use it. Energy activators take 30 hours to research :( And if you want a certain Transcendent module GL hope you got hot pockets and Mt Dew on hand :D great video Abby
got done grinding for ulti viessa like 10 hours ago, took like 4 days of 11-12 hours per day (not all of these hours were done playing) i got insanely lucky with two of the drops, getting it as first drop of the day and another one right after, so could have easily been much much longer, i do not recommend grinding non stop going for it
For people who are reading, i was able to get ultimate bunny after a week or two from starting the game, as well as 4 other characters, which is pretty good imo
At 133 hours with 8 different characters (viessa, bunny, freyna, sharen, blair, valby, enzo, and esiemo), only plan to spend money when i run out off descendant space
An advice from a vet Warframe player don’t do crystallization on base descendants only Ultimate versions , as Valby for example getting her Ultimate beginning of August where you will get her and won’t play the base no more so it will be a lost Investment, learned it the hard way believe me lol
Thanks for the advice. Was thinking about using crystalize on bunny, while farming ultimate bunny. Didn’t occur to me that using it on ultimate version was 100% more important.
Hi Warframe vet, I've also put in enough hours to be a vet, and the difference is, crystallization catalysts are WAY harder to get than forma (which are now...basically everywhere), and having at least ONE beefy character, whether Prime/Ultimate or not, is highly important to take on late game content. All Warframes being viable in almost all content, it doesn't matter if you're beefing up a non-Prime, it's still good to do, as there's no way to tell how quickly you'll be able to get a Prime. But you know how easy to get a base Frame. Not sure how much difference there is between non-Ultimates and Ultimates, but even if it's not much, a non-Ultimate should still be viable and usable. Ideally.
@@RedShadowOfSaturn sure is , the point I dosent contradict what your saying , but surly even you would agree that if there is a prime for a frame you like you would rather play with it not the base and all what ever you invested in the base would be lost, the difference in this game than Warframe is they have special mods exclusive for the ultimate versions, like umbra for say but can’t be used on Excalibur or any other frame, that all aside, stat ( although minimal) and a extra 2 polarities on the ultimate beside the surly look and ecstatics, rules applies for both games, surly the base would be set aside or sold to free a slot ( I never did I got every single frame and prime and weapon in WF) that is the basics truth of how it deal with , and having 6 forma and a aura forma on my revenant for example and then having to do that all over with the prime , then not using the base again, doesn’t feel nice, if I’d dose for you , good on you bud, I’m giving a advice with a reason to whomever wish to take it, if it isn’t to your liking it’s all good, but you don’t look like it’s all good with ya is it lol, anyway enjoy whatever you do and wish you the best ( ps you are right crystallization is harder and more time consuming which dose make it more valuable not to waste on a frame you would use until you finish farming ultimate, just saying a concept you can agree or disagree it’s all well as long as your enjoying what your doing)
@@Leo-Draco Well of course. Always enjoy. That should be the goal. I'm not saying put 6 forma/catalysts on a base character when there's a prime/ultimate. That's kind of a lot. Granted, new Frames have about 3-4 years before they're Primed, so unless you want a new Frame that's far less effective, use them sparingly. I'm saying a reactor/activator on ONE base is fine when you're newer, just so you have ONE character that can be at least close to fully modded. True, you'd want to use upgrade stuff on Primes/Ultimates ideally, but if there's no reasonable timeframe on how quickly you can go from getting, say, base Revenant to Revenant Prime...what do you do with base Revenant then? Max him to 30 and trash him? That seems even more wasteful. My point is...a player should take stock of what they have access to, and not be TOO pensive about using things, if they like or enjoy a certain character or playstyle. I put an activator (and I think a catalyst) on base Lepic. I have ZERO idea how long it's going to be before I get Ultimate Lepic (probably forever), and that's fine. I don't plan on using those on any other bases (unless I gather up a ton), but by the time I get Ultimate Lepic, maybe I've saved up more to use.
@@RedShadowOfSaturn oh don’t worry the crysta/ forma will be allot soon I have 8 blueprints waiting to be made, as soon as you start farming frames earlier you will get them, the problem is the potatoes / I got only 4 during the same time period, mind you I started with Ajax as to try to make it to as far as farming the ultimates as possible because how tanky he could become, he served me well till I got Ultimate Gley which is what I wanted:-) now I’m building a forma after another to get her to level I want so I can farm the rest easily , I got lepic and viessa getting done but it’s for mastery only as I’m going to farm thier ultimates next , I’m just implementing all that I learned in those years in WF lol, and can’t tell you how excited I am for 1999, that might render even TFF obsolete after that ;-)
I bought a prime warframe and grinded the rest, or traded. In this game I purchased ultimate bunny after completing the campaign and progressing to hard difficulty. I'll grind the other descendants. I've done this in many other games as well. I'll typically buy what I'll use to speed up the grinding process.
Havent spent a dollar and got 9 descendants and ulitmate bunny. Did i grind 1 mission 76 times for a item? Yes, yes I did but its goals in game. If people buy everything then idk what there playing for lol
I’m gonna call cap on 9 descendants (you get 5 of them pretty easily/early but the rest are rng) but people bypassing days of a monotonous grind is pretty reasonable. Grinding mindless easy missions is not content imo.
I’m a free to play player too, haven’t spend any cash, put around 100h. I have ultimate bunny cooking atm, 5 extra mod capacity increases ready to cook, 15+ crystalisations ready to cook, 8 characters including gley, Enzo, lepic, bunny, ultimate bunny, valby, freyna, sharen, blair. Master rank 17. 500k+ dps thunder cage. Again, zero money investment, only time and heaps of pre experience from warframe and betas.
I'm a week in on a NMS account. This is a solid game regardless of shop items and I'm having fun grinding. Shop prices don't trump that and I'll be getting the pass for the kitty back piece 😊
Only transaction you actually need is the Descendant expansion fee that's it. You can farm all the Ultimates. I farmed every one so far except for Jax in 3 weeks of playing the game. Only descendant I still don't have is Esimo ,Ultimate Ajax and Hailey but have parts haha..
Thanks for the video...I haven't bought anything and have 4 characters, plus working on another. The only reason to buy anything is if you can't handle a game that needs to be grinded or the kind of person who needs to have the best of everything before anyone else.
Nah there's another reason. You only get 10 slots for descendants. There are currently 14 + 5 ultimate forms. You would need 19 slots. The only way to get those is with real money, you can not get those slots in game. Which means you can't play every character. Nor can you try them before you build them to decide if you want them or not.
I’m about 125 hours in and I’m stuck at trying to beat hard mode executioner. I have a lot of ultimate bunnies components but don’t honestly enjoy bunny’s play style. I really want to try out freya though. Seems fun. I think devs should not lock character slots under the paywall want keep it to mastery levels. The materials for non-elemental descendants shrines need to be changed pronto. Why is it 3 of each materials when some are giving 17-20 of a specific kind? Honestly getting a little burned out, but I’m glad the devs seem responsive to the community.
I have the same opinion as you about the grind. I set out to grind 1 thing, I come across an outpost where I see people, so I stay there and farm that cause there's always smtg useful. Then I continue and some1 is doing a void reactor boss, so I join that too because ofc I got amorphs cause I always join the outpost fights. The grinds seem tedious but they are so various and spread out they just blend into the gameplay. The things we seek to unlock dont gatekeep eachother so we can just collect and unlock whatever we get matts for whenever we do. EDIT: HOLY CRAP you got 3 activator blueprints?! Daaaaamn!
Not some, ALL prices are outrageous. The foundation for a good monetization system is there, it's just that the prices are so high above the clouds compared to WF, which their shop is based off of to an extent, being cheaper. Doesn't help that the drop rates are meant to frustrate and push people to the shop. It's fine to like the game. I do. But we need to better call out Nexon for their prices and get them to make the prices more reasonable, and do something about the drop rates. You can play this game free2play. But you can't have cosmetics like the skins. And in terms of the catalysts and forma, you can also farm them without paying, but prepare to jump an ungodly amount of hoops just to build one, IF your RNG is lucky enough. But as mentioned, Nexon makes the grind too much for most people, that it's to get people into the shop, where those catalysts/reactors and forma TFD equivalents are over $20. "Perfect Mediocrity" is how I'd describe this game. As someone who loves grinding games, this one in particular has elements I like, but can effectively waste your time with no progression whatsoever, which can be frustrating to the point people quit.
I love it. It not a 10/10 game. But I enjoy playing. People are complaining the story of a free game. Seriously...the cut scenes are amazing especially near end game. Ofc there's still much to improve and have those little things that makes me annoying
F2p 150hrs I have: Viessa Bunny Freyna Sharen Blair Enzo and Ultimate bunny in 20hrs All 40s besides Enzo bc he is just for a farm I'll max him later and MR 16 working on 20 for that buff F2P can do everything in the game, pay to progress just does it sooner and are barely any farther ahead as you still need to farm mods and kuiper shards to do anything Also seeing as the content is either public/private for boss and mission all you are paying for is to make the game easier for others if you're so impatient. Only down side to F2P is there's more descendants than slots and slots are locked behind irl cash. So when they fix that and lower the cash shop (customization wise because idc about the rest) game can go from a 7/10 to an solid 8/10. More content will be a higher rating.
I have been playing a lot of this game with my girlfriend we are working towards freyna but she has been kinda unlucky with the shelter mission and I already got 2 enhanced cells. But I have not disliked the game so far so good!
F2P, I am currently sitting a bit under 200h, got ultimate gley and viessa, on the way also obtained over 30 crystalization catalyst and 4 energy activator (blueprints). Game is incredibly f2p friendly, whoever says otherwise is being either dishonest, or have not really seen what a p2w trash looks like edit: the most surprising part of all of this, is that this is a Nexon game....
its not too hard on f2p players you just need to optimize the way you farm. 8 characters including a grind ult gley with lepic in the pot cooking and ult lepic almost done
Report for the record; showing 65 hours on steam. Extra unlock; Freyna. (So only Lepic, Bunny, and Freyna maxed at 40.) I think I only got one Ultimate weapon that wasn't free. Ummm... tough to gauge where I am in terms of actual power what with something like 550 mods in the game and having only a fraction of them. I've done a touch of 'farming' to try to unlock Ajax or get Ultimate pieces, but that's only maybe an hour of a 5 hour play day. I'm an effective level 80 due to gear. Mastery 13. The only purchase I've done, and really expect to do, is the super cute stuffed bunny. I figure 10 is more than fair since I was 60+ hours in and still am pretty addicted to the game. For comparison I'm showing 640 hours in Warframe (which FD is like 90% Warframe), and 1753 on Destiny 2, which isn't fully accurate as a ton of play time was before it was on Steam, as well as Destiny 1. Really nothing for me to gain other than weapon level grinding in D2, so I'm pretty much keeping that paused (save for the weekly red border weapon) until the new content comes. In terms of "grind" I really think the majority of people are looking at FD "wrong". It FEELS like it's something you need to push through as fast as possible and unlock everything immediately, but you really don't. When I first played I just felt kind of 'meh' about the game. I was like oh these areas are bland, things are uninteresting, I'm not getting fast enough progress, but then... I stopped thinking that. I looked at it like a mobile game. 3-5 minute missions meant I did NOT have to drop hours to get progress. I could play casual. Since I thought of it casually, like I CAN look for things, try for ultimates, etc, and don't treat it like I MUST, it became WAY more fun. I think people are getting hung up on feeling like they NEED a thing and MUST unlock it immediately. And that's just not what the game is.
My concern as well trying to stay f2p. I already have 9 descendants, one more and I'll have to delete one to make space. Wish mastery ranks added descendant slots too.
Your video was pretty fair in all respects of game systems. I want to add one thing that hit me hard when you see the big picture... When an ultimate descendant is unlocked they are automatically better than their base version, makes sense, yes? Well, instead of them overwriting the base descendant and all that progress you invested into the base descendant is pointless. The energy activator, the mod slot type additions are all wasted time/progress. This also applies to unlocking new descendants. It is pointless once you get their ultimate version. All the time, materials, gold, time to research/unlock each descendant is wasted. The best way that the game never tells you to play is invest ONLY in one character, do NOT unlock any of the base descendants. Grind through hard mode and slowly unlock the ultimate versions. In other words the system needs to change.
Ultimate descendant give you nothing more than 2k defense (wich becomes useless past 50-60k) and 2 extra « catalyst » module slot. Thats all. Dont worry about it mannn. It only saves 2 catslyst in the end
Ultimate versions are mostly useful for 2 things : Mastery Rank Exp and playing builds using Ultimate exclusive modules. You also want to craft and level up all base characters to 40 anyway for the Mastery Rank Exp. Imo there should be a way to transfer catalyst and such from base characters to ultimate versions, or at least get some mats back if we discard the base versions from our roster.
The base version as same as the lots of weapons are just the tools you use to increase your mastery rank, it’s a grinding system ported with exact mesures, and you will sell or delete some as you go on to free slots , the evolution of that should be that you grind a special parts that evolve the base to the ultimate ones making them a part you need to get and evolve, but that won’t happen unfortunately as it intercepts a money making mechanic which is slots sales , except if they make it as ultimate requires 2 slots as the base and evolve kit , then it would work partially, if any 1 would work on evolving systems it would be digital extremes, so if warframe gets it , I’m sure other games will follow
100+ hours with 20 bucks spent for battle pass and some extra coin. I've been fight off the temptation to buy an ultimate character the entire time. Void shards are super annoying and will probably be the reason I quit soon.
the summary is the game is enjoyable f2p but you will hate the game after grinding for a character where their drops are below 10% but the good part is I don't have to wait a week to play the character I spent hours grinding
Answer is yes. People buying stuff are just reducing Game time for themselves. They then will get bored and go buy another game. Sono the game isn't predatory. It would be if it was I possible to level or obtain items without it. People are only mad because they either can't afford it or have bought it and ruined half their game time by buying it.
My criticism is that some of the stuff in the store is over-priced. And the ganme can be TOO grindy. Grinding a mmo is standard, but I do think it should be less grindy.
I am a grinder player, 3.5k hours on destiny, 2.7k hours on warframe, Lv2500+ on the division 2, and i gotta say the game needs low the grind because take so long and tedious to farm some things
So far, I am fine with the game, but I went in with the mindset of "if it dies, it dies" I am not a lifer for any game and looter shooter grind is pretty low on my gaming preference list. Prices could be better for specific buys, and I have found the battlepass to be underwhelming. I'd of liked for there to be enough caliber in the battlepass to pay for the next battlepass, but that doesn't make money.
MR 13. Last area of the game. 4 Descendants with Sharon in the oven xD Bought some outfits. Don't know who I want to main. I like Valby for reasons but I want to try Gley. Switched to Bunny before going back to Ajax. Waiting to hit Hard before I do any more grinding.
It's difficult to come off of Ajax. His pure tankiness is just too damn good, especially if you get Body Enhancement from the third hard boss. Basically unkillable. I just facetank hard bosses now.
Game isn't even predatory lmao. Besides the high price for "Orikin Reactors and Catalysts". I think people that are hating or are actually ignorant are saying it's predatory. Nothing is in my face when I play. I'm an hour into hard mode. Game is great. The in-game "wiki" to find things and locations to grind specific stuff is great. Gun play is great. Bosses are pretty fun NGL. I did spend $15 on the maid outfit for Freyna though...
I kind of hate going back and playing normal missions after you hit level 100. When I went back to grind for descendants I was way too strong and would just sit in the dungeons with my gun pre-aimed waiting for the exact same mob of enemies to spawn from the same spot every time. It made the previously fun game not very fun.
Currently mastery 18, self farmed Ultimate gley it wont take you 100's of hours for all of the Descendants started with Viessa also have -bunny -freyna -sharen -gley -sharen -blair -valby -enzo and maxxed out the ult ability on thundercage
I feel warframe just feels better because it has trading if you just copy and paste without it the grind is just awful it doesn’t even feel worth playing because the loot tables are insane
That Blair grind was a pain for me. Took 18 runs to get one of his parts. Ten for another, and then I just got his last piece in the shortest time with 8 runs. I don't remember how many for the first piece, maybe I blocked it out, 20% my ass, lol.
You got me on descendants, lol. But including the feeders to upgrade the weapon abilities, I've gotten 15 (ultimate) weapons so far. So far the one that felt the best has been the thunder cage. Lost Hope is close, but you gotta mod a specific way to get it there.
Freyna, Blair and Sharen take about the same amount of effort to farm, which may be a bunch of runs, but at least you can just craft them once you have all four pieces. How has your experience been researching anyone else? Everyone else except Bunny requires amorphous materials. Specific ones, usually.
TBF you already have the hardest mats to farm for energy activators you can get that stuff in like half an hour. Well.. with good RNG lol Been helping people with hard strikes and bosses. I'm at 84 hours and been grinding lol 100% not a dime spent just exploiting the systems. It's not that bad all free to play feels like warframe definitely more predatory compared especially the color customization, destiny shaders and taking away the ability to color default skins, and selling the forma for 50 bucks.. that's wild.. and buying ultimates they don't even come with the catalysts and forma pre-installed like warframe but.. It's still very fun and I have Lepic Bunny Freyna Valby and I have some Blair Sharen and so many other parts. I'm finishing a hard playthrough and I'm on hard level pyromaniac Will probably farm ultimate viessa and ultimate bunny and decide who to put all my resources into and make the main. I was also looking into farming ultimate Gley but yeah! It's all fun farming in my opinion. Got tamer and fallen hope contagion on freyna and the after glow sniper on lepic and thunder cage for bunny which is a free end game build synergy like here you go.. bunny for free and her quest so it's okay You just can't do a lot of it until end game but I never hit a wall really. Just tough fights I had to prepare for like elden ring or ghost of tsushima raids I know the gameplay loop enough farm get strong upgrade CRAFT CRAFT CRAFT do strikes missions and bosses repeat. I hope we get events and more open world activities as well continued updates... Sadly I'm not going to be contributing to that 😅😅 At least not with my money but time sure. I give this game a pass because it has this amazing "Access Info" section I don't need RUclips to find everything in game so it keeps me engaged without distractions so that's good design as well as mindless fun gameplay. If the game was bad, THEN we would have a problem..
Good luck with that. I think that took me about 25 tries to get through. People kept getting destroyed. It's like most people just don't slot hp or defense. I saw someone post on a different video that they actually asked for help with it in chat and beat it easy peasy. I didn't even think of that.
i am 30 hours in and rage quit a couple of times with certain pieces of the descendant are too grindy. 1 of them was freya finally got nearly 20 times and sharon may take that much. not sure if module increase modifier and consumable increase modifier helps but seems to get more materials. sadly it seems like some pieces of these descendants like freya or sharon are really bad. so just wonder if anyone tried adding those on pieces of gear that helps?
Hey Abby the number you read off doesn't match what was shown. Can you clarify please? I am not a wallet warrior and only occasionally buy cosmetics in any game, but if they offer a must have cosmetic I definitely want to support you and have the correct info. Thanks
My Nexon Creator code is AbbyHour# 5888 , and you can support me through this link (if you login with your Nexon account) creators.nexon.com/s/AbbyHour%235888?serviceId=74 If that doesn't work (some people told me it wasn't working for them), you can also search me up IN GAME with AbbyHour# 9902 and support a creator that way! It's a little confusing because they give you an in game code and a creator code which are diff.
Would you recommend unlocking a certain character 2nd who would speed up farming in general or is farming speed close enough between the different characters?
@@AbbyHour I expected that answer but are the others noticeably slower? I think my plan is to just focus on unlocking as many of the descendents that interest me then take it from there and not sure how much I'll enjoy Bunny either. Mostly interested in Valby, Freyna and maybe a few others.
@@Destin879Bunny is an absolute beast for AOE and moving fast; but outside of Devourer, you’ll struggle on interception bosses; and bossing in general. Gley is a wicked bosser (current meta of getting skill duration up and skill cd down to have 100% uptime on infinite ammo to kill bosses fast). Valby is queen of CC as well and fairly good at both mobbing and bossing, as her skills are non-elemental so aren’t resisted by anything.
Non 'Bot' comment here... Good vid, I'm really enjoying it and haven't spent, nor will I spend a single penny on PTW. I'll probably get the battle pass though for a giggle...
I'm a diehard Shin Megami Tensei fan playing in parallel with TFD! Compared with SMT, these grinding numbers are nothing! SMT games stops the clock at 999 hours! That's what these games are all about! The grind! And the ultimate trophies at the end of the road! Isn't buying kind of defeating the purpose? It's like cheating, but you pay for it!
WF doesn't have predatory monetization.. Nexon has a history of predatory monetization which makes people worried.. FD is pretty fun to play.. I hope Nexon stays the course.. WF is far older and more complex than new FD which benefited from many mistakes WF did.. it seems Nexon has an opportunity to take on both WF and Destiny.. if the difference between FD and WF is only monetization, you will not find so many WF players grinding FD.. regardless of the similarities, WF D2 and FD are completely different space shooter looter games
So when i played Warframe its was like literally the day it came out played for like 3 days then never touched it agian too much stuff to buy and the stuff in tfd is not necessary to buy a single thing literally my only gripe with it is the descendant slots
The reality is the grind is simply too much in this game if you want stuff in a day or two. Most people aren’t even bothering trying to grind for ultimate descendants becuase it’s so ridiculous. I get the grind of the game and I’m fine with that but if they’re gonna copy warframe then copy warframe. Primes are much easier to obtain.
Oh yeah in 125 hours I’ve unlocked 6 descendants. That’s said I’m probably gonna take a break from the game Now and hope they reduce some Elements of the grind
The target audience is for people who would like to grind stuff in a regular basis. The game is designed around not being able to acquire what you need in a single sitting. Why else would there be normal/hard difficulty and open world outposts timegating? It's designed around monetization but unlike WF there is no trading and community to help out. Still a good game if you like to grind for the sake of grinding but I did not recommend this to my friend lol.
If i can find a nice universal costume i may buy one.... and im considering the battlepass. I got the ice queen my starter to 40 and freyna to 40. Working on valby and i got shiren unlocked
I forgot to mention in the video, but there's a few free skins in battle pass shop, you just need to complete some of the challenges to earn the coin. Ajax, Viessa, and Lepic
Compared to Warframe: - More Expensive to skip time + Much lower wait times (54hrs total for Ultimate vs 84hrs total for Prime (assuming you wait to craft and do all 3 pieces at once, then the descendant/frame)) - No current way to farm premium currency in game - Can’t trade blueprints with other players + Gameplay is solid and not “slide-jump-slide through level as fast as possible” - loot boxes on top of low rng makes grind worse - animations are lazy and all the same across Descendants, lack of real personality between them outside of voice lines + better explained start and easier to get into, as it doesn’t just throw you in with no direction + new game, so no 10 years of content to get through to catch up to endgame - new game, so no 10 years of content
Its crazy that you can download a game for free and put 100 hours without spending money. If you do want to spend then yes prices are expensive but you dont have to spend. If you get stuck and feel like spending is the only move then maybe its time to try a different game?
I'm not sure where, it's an Asian region, but there's one place that they legally can NOT charge money for online games (in a buy to play sense). So every single online game in that region is free to play with micro transactions.
Qurstion: how do you have so low gold, mods upgraded so high, at hard mode, only mastery 14, but at 100hrs, and claiming f2p? I'm not saying you're lieing, I'm just saying the math doesnt add up. Saying this with over 241 hours as of making this comment.
Nexon is being stupid for holding out purchases for unreasonable price tags. They could have already earned millions if they offered discounts while the game is hot. DUMB.

this game did the one of the things that kept me from grinding warframe seriously. IT TELLS YOU WHERE TO GRIND WHAT YOU FREAKING NEED. Seriously.
Yeah it’s like combining Warframe and its wiki built in lol , also how the first descendant you get after your starter one they show you how to make it AND it only takes 1 min to build , just that one but it pulls you in , and to make it even better, now Mastery Rank 24 hours barrier
war frame tells you.. most things are vaulted. the relics tells you where they drop, and what they have when you open them.
@@RedShadowOfSaturn I haven't played since fortuna update.
Remnant 2 introduced me to the channel. Glad to see more games I'm playing!
Edit: Ajax main here. Wish me luck farming the Shiny Ajax.
Just started research of all Ultimate Bunny components at like 120-130 hrs of F2P 👍
Warframe literally does that too, but...guess people like narratives.
It's okay.
I’m a F2P player and I managed to get ultimate Bunny today I been grinding for here since Sunday last week
Good job I'm just now grinding her cause I was busy like the first 4 days of launch
Good for you !!!👏👏but at least for me it’s too much time grinding and honestly takes the fun out the game !!This is coming after I grinded for 8 hrs trying to get electric condense unique for bunny !! With no luck 😔but I am trying to enjoy it for the most part !
The grind IS REAL..... but im a grinder so im enjoying it
same :) i love getting excited when what i want drops too!
im a grinder also with 2k hours in gta 5 online. but in this game rng doesnt feel rewarding because i’ve been farming ulti bunny for 6 days now (almost 80 hours on steam) and haven’t got any drop. i’ve gotten more 1.2% transcendent drops than 6% drop.
Amen!
That said I can easily understand the stress and struggles of people who aren't used to playing f2p games and if you spend at least the stuff you buy you know you get unlike gatcha game mechanics of pay for rng
i do not care what people say i absolutely love the game i purchased Ultimate Bunny and she is rocking !

Love the gameplay, grind is actually enjoyable. Don't see that changing anytime time soon.
You enjoy getting shafted?
Been having fun and have spent money in the shop. The gameplay loop is tight and the missions are varied. Totally love that you can pivot to other activities while chasing something else so not as much frustration.
I played for 14 hours and enjoyed the game so I gave them $20 and picked up Enzo to support my friends. More than a little annoyed at the price break points but dont regret buying Enzo. As it stands I have 5 descendants at 50ish hours. Just broke into hard mode.
The grind for activators and catalyst probably will kill it for me. Im F2P and will stay that way
the activators are basically reactors from warframe and the catalysts are forma from warframe as well and those are like a couple dollars irl money but they have a trading system for it so its not that hard to get so seeing 20$ and 6$ for something like that is ridiculous
Energy activators take 30 hours to research :( And if you want a certain Transcendent module GL hope you got hot pockets and Mt Dew on hand :D great video Abby
got done grinding for ulti viessa like 10 hours ago, took like 4 days of 11-12 hours per day (not all of these hours were done playing) i got insanely lucky with two of the drops, getting it as first drop of the day and another one right after, so could have easily been much much longer, i do not recommend grinding non stop going for it
For people who are reading, i was able to get ultimate bunny after a week or two from starting the game, as well as 4 other characters, which is pretty good imo
playing the first descendant i miss warframe monetization
I have the same ideology I make jokes about people who purchased there characters lol
As for the money advantages I don't really care. I feel people that work should be able to have access to these things for sure.
COMING from someone that spent money and probably my entire 2 weeks lol. yes its more free to play friendly than it is pay to progress TBH
is the main story line done after defeating the last boss? was actually so fun playing that it felt so short 😢
Great video and breakdown of the game, earned a sub!
Daaaaamn!
Since I enjoy the game I purchased the BP
Nice video. Just supported you my nexon creator
6 descendants in and working on crafting ultimate gley. 130 hours in.
bro Im on the same boat 😂 I'm 3 out 4 blueprints for UGley
I love it. It not a 10/10 game. But I enjoy playing.
People are complaining the story of a free game. Seriously...the cut scenes are amazing especially near end game.
Ofc there's still much to improve and have those little things that makes me annoying
Also Viessa is a Must FOR those fiery colossi.
I'm having an absolute blast in this game so far and haven't spent a dime
F2p 150hrs I have:
Viessa Bunny Freyna Sharen Blair Enzo and Ultimate bunny in 20hrs
All 40s besides Enzo bc he is just for a farm I'll max him later and MR 16 working on 20 for that buff
F2P can do everything in the game, pay to progress just does it sooner and are barely any farther ahead as you still need to farm mods and kuiper shards to do anything
Also seeing as the content is either public/private for boss and mission all you are paying for is to make the game easier for others if you're so impatient.
Game is incredibly f2p friendly, whoever says otherwise is being either dishonest, or have not really seen what a p2w trash looks like
edit: the most surprising part of all of this, is that this is a Nexon game....
its not too hard on f2p players you just need to optimize the way you farm. 8 characters including a grind ult gley with lepic in the pot cooking and ult lepic almost done
Oh i spent some money!! Can't help it love this stuff
My only concern is that additional character slots are pay walled. Me and other free players will probably move on when we have 10 Descendants.
That's definitely one of my concerns as well
That's definitely a concern for me as well. Luckily the slots don't cost too much but I wish stuff like that was in the battle pass
is it 50c per extra slot?
My concern as well trying to stay f2p. I already have 9 descendants, one more and I'll have to delete one to make space. Wish mastery ranks added descendant slots too.
You have 9...jesus christ
I agree! I think the ultimate version should combine with the base as well
Ultimate descendant give you nothing more than 2k defense (wich becomes useless past 50-60k) and 2 extra « catalyst » module slot.
@@frankauc6023 So they're better than the base and what players are ultimately working towards, thanks for agreeing.
Void shards are super annoying and will probably be the reason I quit soon.
the summary is the game is enjoyable f2p but you will hate the game after grinding for a character where their drops are below 10% but the good part is I don't have to wait a week to play the character I spent hours grinding
besides that tho the game is pretty good
Answer is yes.

@@f1re_w1re67 i can show you if you want
Currently mastery 18,
self farmed Ultimate gley it wont take you 100's of hours for all of the Descendants
started with Viessa also have
-bunny
-freyna
-sharen
-gley
-sharen
-blair
-valby
-enzo
and maxxed out the ult ability on thundercage
About an hour ago, I seen someone post a pic of crafting Ultimate Bunny.
I feel warframe just feels better because it has trading if you just copy and paste without it the grind is just awful it doesn’t even feel worth playing because the loot tables are insane
casual gamer
That Blair grind was a pain for me. Took 18 runs to get one of his parts. Ten for another, and then I just got his last piece in the shortest time with 8 runs. I don't remember how many for the first piece, maybe I blocked it out, 20% my ass, lol.
I got so lucky and hit all parts first try😐
You got me on descendants, lol. But including the feeders to upgrade the weapon abilities, I've gotten 15 (ultimate) weapons so far. So far the one that felt the best has been the thunder cage. Lost Hope is close, but you gotta mod a specific way to get it there.
That's how probabilities work, mate.
Well.. with good RNG lol
Been helping people with hard strikes and bosses.
I'm finishing a hard playthrough and I'm on hard level pyromaniac
Will probably farm ultimate viessa and ultimate bunny and decide who to put all my resources into and make the main.
I was also looking into farming ultimate Gley but yeah! It's all fun farming in my opinion.
Got tamer and fallen hope contagion on freyna and the after glow sniper on lepic and thunder cage for bunny which is a free end game build synergy like here you go.. bunny for free and her quest so it's okay
You just can't do a lot of it until end game but I never hit a wall really. Just tough fights I had to prepare for like elden ring or ghost of tsushima raids
I know the gameplay loop enough farm get strong upgrade CRAFT CRAFT CRAFT do strikes missions and bosses repeat.
I hope we get events and more open world activities as well continued updates... Sadly I'm not going to be contributing to that 😅😅
At least not with my money but time sure.
I give this game a pass because it has this amazing "Access Info" section I don't need RUclips to find everything in game so it keeps me engaged without distractions so that's good design as well as mindless fun gameplay.
If the game was bad, THEN we would have a problem..
I'm level 40 and Mastery 12 with 3 Descendants......and currently trying to beat Pyromaniac. Lepic is my main.
Good luck with that. I think that took me about 25 tries to get through. People kept getting destroyed. It's like most people just don't slot hp or defense.
I saw someone post on a different video that they actually asked for help with it in chat and beat it easy peasy. I didn't even think of that.
My biggest issue is the 6% drops, 4 days grinding and not a single fucking thing for ultimate Gley. It's just not fun doing the same boss/dungeon
Free to play so because kind of a moot premise of course you can because the game is free to play a gotcha game. You can get everything in and free.
I've spent money, but because i have the money and love the game, so it feels good to support it.
Is there any appearance customisation obtainable for free? Or will i be stuck with the same outfit and haircut if i don't pay anything?
My only complaint is certain red mods can only be used by Ultimates. That is total bs imo. Love this game but that has to change.
i am 30 hours in and rage quit a couple of times with certain pieces of the descendant are too grindy.
I received the energy activator blueprint on the level 10 boss i damn near passed out lol.
They gonna add trading soon. So we can sell trans mods or descentants for cash currency and buy what we need.
It’s fun I have about 110h and I have ultimate gley and bunny fully maxed
Hey Abby the number you read off doesn't match what was shown. Can you clarify please? I am not a wallet warrior and only occasionally buy cosmetics in any game, but if they offer a must have cosmetic I definitely want to support you and have the correct info. Thanks
My Nexon Creator code is AbbyHour# 5888 , and you can support me through this link (if you login with your Nexon account) creators.nexon.com/s/AbbyHour%235888?serviceId=74
If that doesn't work (some people told me it wasn't working for them), you can also search me up IN GAME with AbbyHour# 9902 and support a creator that way! It's a little confusing because they give you an in game code and a creator code which are diff.
Would you recommend unlocking a certain character 2nd who would speed up farming in general or is farming speed close enough between the different characters?
You get bunny pretty early in the campaign and she'll be good for all your farming.
@@AbbyHour I expected that answer but are the others noticeably slower? I think my plan is to just focus on unlocking as many of the descendents that interest me then take it from there and not sure how much I'll enjoy Bunny either. Mostly interested in Valby, Freyna and maybe a few others.
@@Destin879 get enzo for encrypted vaults they aren't required now for their materials but they are consistent and will get you the mats much faster.
Farming missions? Bunny. Get Enzo to farm the encrypted vaults.
Non 'Bot' comment here... Good vid, I'm really enjoying it and haven't spent, nor will I spend a single penny on PTW. I'll probably get the battle pass though for a giggle...
I may get a skin if I see one I like because you can't paint the free ones and you get free paints from Awards
Also not a bot am hue.... human as well!! This game is great! Says this hue...human. Nailed the humane speak!!
Trying to stay free, might break once ultimate Valby drops…
I broke at the final technical test 😅
Yes you can but I bought some outfits to support the game.
Pretend the cash shop doesn’t exist. Earning new gear or characters is the whole point of the game. 😂
hi i am enjoying the game and i have 6 so far just substitute sharon for blair
These types of games are just grinding, what do you expect? Also prime frames are not easier to get

Loving the game
I was enjoying this game but got bored after about 10hrs maybe I'll give it another look after SMTV 😁
What's smtv?
@@AbbyHour shin megami tensei 5
My thing is if your going to spend hundreds of hours in a game a $100 is not bad to spend.
I agree! I spend that yearly on Destiny 2 expansions :/ Everyone's tolerance will be different though
There are no universal skins.
Compared to Warframe:
- More Expensive to skip time
+ Much lower wait times (54hrs total for Ultimate vs 84hrs total for Prime (assuming you wait to craft and do all 3 pieces at once, then the descendant/frame))
- No current way to farm premium currency in game
- Can’t trade blueprints with other players
+ Gameplay is solid and not “slide-jump-slide through level as fast as possible”
- loot boxes on top of low rng makes grind worse
- animations are lazy and all the same across Descendants, lack of real personality between them outside of voice lines
+ better explained start and easier to get into, as it doesn’t just throw you in with no direction
+ new game, so no 10 years of content to get through to catch up to endgame
- new game, so no 10 years of content
Trading is being worked on.
DUMB.
Warframe with sexy anime characters with no back story ❤.
God the more I hear about this game the more I hate it tried to farm gley and being locked by timers non stop to farm is just awful
How to get your backpack in the game?
Twitch drops! Watch a twitch stream in the First Descendant diretory for 2 hours for all rewards and connect your nexon account
Im free to play MR 15 5 decendants and about to get ultimate lepic free to
Also i see you are using my girl valby she is the best i havr all of them and hands down she wins
Love her!
$40 - $60 game? Is it 2018 again already?
Destiny 2: The Final Shape is $50 on Steam rn
@@AbbyHour lol Destiny 2 is 7 years old.
The grind is so hard for me...
It's not for everyone
The grind makes me so hard
I think my account is level 12
