Would be nice to see the option of buying it unlocked in Apple with the Apple Card for 12 months and going for a cheaper carrier unlimited plan. Nice video though!
The best deal is buying unlocked straight from the manufacturer in the long run it cheaper than going through a carrier cause you don’t have to certain plan and are not on bill credits for this deals. You not lock in.
I'm going to Verizon and is the same service plan for $90(is the best service coverage where I live). Its trade in any Android or iPhone for $1000 off iPhone 15promax( $6/month for 3years), $10/month(3years) for an iPad , $5/month(3years) for an apple watch SE. You save $1000 on the phone, about $300 on the ipad, $150 on the apple watch. So my total bill is $90+$6+$10+$5= $111/month. That is a lot of money but I was already paying T-mobile that so I decided to switch this black Friday. Especially since T-mobile is messing up my trade-in deal right now
@@sean1334 at 10:18 into the video he directly compares mint 15gb to T mobile go5G. That’s an apples to oranges comparison. Those two plans aren’t even close to being on the same level.
The T-mobile deal seems off. The website says iPhone 15 Pro Max ON US but then under it, shows credits up to $1000. That leaves $200 left so its not really ON US.
They f ked up everything with the new 2 plans, they charge you xtra money so at the end of the 24 months basically you paid the phone with your own money plus the trade in you have to do, last year was the best for magenta max customers now we are not on the top anymore
They have another deal ongoing rn where you get a $200 virtual prepaid Mastercard via rebate. But you have to port your number from an eligible carrier.
The best deal is to buy the thing unlocked directly with Apple. Then its yours and you can take it to any carrier. Sure you have to pay the whole cost of the phone but if you use the Apple card and trade in your old device, you'll earn apple cash for the purchase and be made to make payments on a reduced price using the apple card.
I have Verizon my unlimited plus plan and I liked the idea of having two different lines on my iPhone that is already unlocked, which of the plans should I combine with my Verizon plan and should I change the Verizon plan to a cheaper one to have for example Verizon and mint or Verizon and any other company? You should make a video of what are the two best plans to have better coverage on your own iPhone
Now, when you were talking about mint mobile, you said the monthly bill would be $56.20. If mobile plans start at $20, are you then adding in the financing price of the cell phone?
Correct, the monthly total would include the phone plus the plan. For year 3, the phone would be paid off, so it would just be the $20/mo price + taxes.
It doesn’t have to be free, we’re just looking for great deals without hidden fees. 300$ for 5 lines with iphone 15s trading in 5 old phones doesn’t sound like a bad deal, it just sounds sketchy.
I do a full price comparison at 9:50! Mint Mobile is the most affordable for a single line. AT&T Unlimited Starter is most affordable for a family of four.
@@StetsonDoggettwhat about mint unlimited since the majority of those plans from visible+ down are “unlimited”or at least >30 gigs. I think it’s smart to show mint 15gb plan, however I think it would be more apples to apples to show the mint unlimited plan as well. It’s more of a fair comparison for T mobile go5G vs mint unlimited. Just a thought. However great video!!!
Honestly if you can afford it. Just buy the phone unlocked. Get a plan from a prepaid carrier for 25 dollars a month or less and call it a day. You are out about 2100 over 3 years. If you can sell your current phone or even trade it in (even with apple’s crappy trade in deals) then you would be better off than most of these “deals” but i understand most people cant afford that
That 36 month total includes 36 months of cellphone service with Boost so it’s a great deal imho. Does the plan become cheaper tho if you don’t upgrade tho ?
I think it's if someone plans to stay in the cell phone provider for 3 years. I'm not sure if let's say how much it will cost for 2 years and then go to another company on your kwn

I don’t think comparing mint 15gb to TMobile go5G is apples to apples. Why not compare mint unlimited to TMobile go5g
I think its fine as Stetson is trying to showcase the cheapest scenario while meeting the requirements for the deal

@StetsonDoggett red pocket financing is 24 months, not 36. So the total cost of the plan could be less.

Do a trade in through Apple directly!
