wow, I've listened to Joe's voice for a couple years and today I see his face. Great job guys. Keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing from the Detroit Nad Man next week. Happy New Year|
My ex and I were at the Pizza del Populo in Rome at NYE in 2003. The crowds started pushing and it was hard to not fall. Then crazies were waving car flares and dripping that molten crap all over us. But it was a blast because Italians are awesome.
I love your point about travel and tolerance. I agree with Twain “Travel is fatal to prejuidce, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts."
Disney is having to offer deals since their incompetent Execs focus only on trying to invent quarterly gains and never reinvest in the Parks which are their cash cow. They'll pay now because Epic Universe opens May 25th and lo and below Disney deals start May 26.
Joe, I love the Park Hyatt New York! One of my favorite hotels in the world. I live in midtown west Manhattan and I went to Saks to use my $50 credit on New Years Eve! I walked back in the afternoon around 5pm, and 57th Street was open for cars and pedestrians. So bummer that you could have enjoyed your 4pm late checkout. Loved hearing about your adventures in NYC.
BTW, I have done Times Square for NYE about 18 years ago and we all wore adult diapers/Depends just to make sure we didn't have any accidents. One and done, won't be doing it again! Other fun NYE destination experieces have been Magic Kingdom as well as Epcot(total zoo!) and London directly across from the London Eye. Getting reservations for that took a lot of planning and work!
Joe, if that's an older 90's halogen lamp in your background, make sure you put it far away from anything flammable (like those curtains). Those halogen bulbs burn hotter than the surface of the sun (at least mine does).
Thanks the lamp isn't even plugged in. It's possible it is from my room when I was in high school lol. Don't ask me why my dad still has it but I'll let him know 😂
We missed Mark's hacking (pun intended) laugh, NOT! I was in the CGH airport after landing in GRU (on my way to Fortaleza to watch the Greece-Ivory Coast world cup game) and that is where I watched that USA game, great memory. Rumors are that Mark has done several videos from his "legit" massages in Bangkok, can't wait, lol.
I learned to ski in my 40s. And put in lots of work to get good quick. But If u live within driving distance, 1 day skiing is fine. It’s lodging that is most costly anyways. But def pre buy tickets. Don’t pay walk up
@@20minutetravel careful. I heard the road up to mountain is bad condition and gets icy, and they don’t slat the road. Tbf, take up a diff hobby. Skiing can be a pain logistics/crowd wise and expensive. Luckily I don’t have kids so cost is much less. And American dream is basically at full capacity. On one hand it’s a freak show but my inner civil planner agrees with it. Just shouldn’t have put it next to met life complex.
I stoped bothering with that credit last Dec os so when they raised price to get free shipping. Amex needs to dump that credit and offer a general live or digital entertainment credit, and not the few sorry services they select.
We've never "lived in a world where you don't have to think about these things." We DO live in a world where the 24-hour news cycle and social media hammer us with the worst of humanity and make us think the world is less safe when it's actually provably MORE safe. However, situational awareness is always important...especially if you want to travel.
JOE!!! Love hearing and seeing Joe again.
He should be back next week to hear about Mark’s antics!
@@20minutetravel Woohoo!
Loved hearing a new voice for the first time since subscribing to all the channels
So nice NOT to have to hear Mark’s stupidity for once!
“it’s not like anyone under 30 watches that” - me pausing in shock as a 25 year old
I was just making fun of us! Not the audience. Glad to have you!
@ All in good fun! Looking forward to more videos this year!
First time seeing Joe after listening to the podcast for quite a while! Hope to see him, Mark and Shawn together more!

Thank you! Next week’s show should be fun!
Joe is legit!
He definitely is!
Joe as back up is perfect for the show. Hope Mark is havin' fun.
Joe is an OG! Just doesn’t have time to join us often but always fun to catch up.
Halogen lamp..haven't seen in 25 years. 😂 Definitely grandma's house.
😂
Happy New Year 🍾🎈🎊 Thanks for the info + video!

Japan is TOP of my bucket list.

Disney Dining works for me because I'm a table service boy.
Always use a Disney Travel Agent, like Joe

Yes! I had that same lamp..I was thinking the exact same thing
I passed it on. He is at his in-laws house traveling. Not his usual recording setup.

I was able to find a great chef knife around 50 bucks at Saks. I liked it so much that I got another one from Amazon.

Yeah maybe I should go to Lee Canyon near Vegas and give it a try. Maybe the bunny hill! 😂

Not much you can do with 50 dollars at saks I usually get underwear or see if I can find a Tshirt on sale.

That’s why we’ve been saving up but I think she should buy something already!
Flying Cathay to hong Kong isn’t bad but I was a poor boy and did it in economy.😊
My favorite airline! Still great even in economy compared to others.
@@20minutetravel I don’t mind eva and either jal or Ana but Hong Kong has some nice airport lounges.
