I have the same oven and last night I took a 2inch thick ribeye and air roasted it for 28 mins after I marinated it with asparagus on the top shelf and it was amazing. I set it on-air roast 400 degrees 28 mins and it was like a med rare slice of roasted prime rib.
    I wish I could add a picture.

You don't need to flip it or anything.

That there is an overcooked steak, but then, I like them heavily seared, but close to purple inside. I have the latest model--about a month now. For cuts I would think of broiling, I use "air-fry." It gives great sear fast and I can shut it down at 120* F---I have the integrated temp probe on mine. They forgot to ship it so at first I used my stand-alone 2 probe thermometer.

I'm glad you're feeling better. That was a quick cook on that steak. How hard is it to clean the oven? That grill basket that comes with the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker does a fine job for me. I like not even having to turn it.

I think if you put parchment paper or aluminum foil down it would be easy to clean spray the paper or foil with Pam and check temperature with themometer and you wouldn't have to flip

I would put the rack one notch higher. It would brown steak better.

Love my ninja. But it does cook quickly. You really have to keep an eye on the meat temp.
