Why We Use A Center Punch Before Drilling Metal!

In this video, I show you why I always use a center punch before drilling into metal.
The normal twist bits for metal do not have a center that initiates the cutting. Therefore the drill bit will easily wander if the cordless drill is not kept at a perfect 90 degrees.
The center punch creates a small crater that guides the drill bit, so it does not wander or slide.
