I went same weapons early except two shoulder missile launchers. I did some test on the first AC combat mission and spamming homing missiles is a pretty stable and decent dps.
While "best build" is pretty subjective for games like this (idk maybe endgame will have honest BiS items?) Just go with what suits your playstyle or what makes you enjoy the game the most! They balanced everything that you can complete the game with whatever you'd like. At least with how far I've played now. But something like this with general and quick tips for the opening chapters is great! :D especially since I'm guessing a lot of people, like me, just get into this game without any knowledge or playtime in earlier Armored Core games.
Yes but one should try stuff out alteast and having multiple builds ready ... like tanky fast plasma build and so on makes one mpre prepared to deal with different bosses faster ... it can be pain to try and force stuff with build that is not appropriate but obviously still can work
The game is actually designed to have certain builds more effective in certain missions then others and some builds completely will completely fail some missions before the first checkpoint. There are multiple objectively best builds for each mission and boss fights in particular. This is intended. I expect some patches to come along to nerf certain builds though as I know a couple that completely trivialize most of the fights in the game.
I understand what ur trying to say but I have found that is 100 not the case. This game is clearly designed in a way where it forces you to use certain builds for certain situations. Of course there are OP builds that can just do everything. But I have had to change my build several times, and as soon as I find the right one, the mission becomes much easier.
You're not saying anything profound. He literally started it off with "What I think is the best build.." This is obviously for people who want to have an easier time in the early game... it's in the title
There is definitely a best build. Give us AC vets time to S rank every mission since we need to do 3 playthroughs to do it and unlock all the parts since NG+ and NG++ unlock additional parts and missions.
What a surprise game, so addictiv' ! Nice video mate 🎉
What i have found is that bazookas are amazing as weapon bay combo chain and utility weapons for melee builds.

Which missle launchers ?
@@VietPho best one I could get, the 2nd ones.
I’m just starting out and I’ve found the dual ludlows, nightschreier rig, and two of those javelin style single shot ATGMs to be the most effective.

That's why I love this game so much, there's no real meta builds its more of what works for you in what situations.
Would honestly recommend vertical missile launchers for both shoulders and honestly. You should also have linear rifles.
Honestly?
@@faydex86 yes
Thanks!
Sounds like Hikaru Nakamura teaching me ac6
totally!
I committed to ur build. We’ll see.
i watch this video later armored core 6 is my first game from this franchise and i hope i have fun with the game
im hooked
im currently trying out to build long range/sniper build for pvp.
How do u get the mg-14 ludlow? Im past wallclimber and dont have those wtf
Training mission I think is how I got it
Training missions and those Huntlogs help you get additional parts
@@KalinaHitanaVTuber yea i got it now lol appreciate it
What about those ost chips?
You don’t unlock the arena until after the first chapter/op wallclimber
How do you get the tetrapod legs?
Beat the optional miniboss in the transport helicopter mission
Defeated him no legs 😢
@@StoneCr8tive Yeah, that's just what someone had told me previously. Sorry!
They unlock in the shop after the climbing the wall mission.
Just keep playing
Best build?
Then it would either be lightweight or middleweight, machine gun, missles & a laser blade. That's if you're just doing missions.
honestly, dual plasma grenade launcher you get in chapter 1 and the vertical launch 8 shot missile launchers just trivialize most of the game so far.
Lol best build? Alot of stuff is better in different situations have fun trying to zook a fast enemy ac
I find a lot of people are using the bazookas wrong. It's not a primary weapon when you use it in pvp
There is no best build. The best build for you. Every build is based on the player
