Like there was a ancient Persian flatbread with cheese and dates, ancient Greeks had a flatbread with herbs and cheese, then there's paratha, bing, rieska, khachapuri, flammkuchen and on and on and on. But flatbread plus tomatoes can be traced to Naples. The first cheese and tomato with toppings pizza was the Pizza Margherita, though most stories might be apocryphal, also in Naples.

In Belgrade, Serbia - there is a pizza with "salad topings" (salad in the potato salad sense - stuff like beef+mayo+veg+mustard or cream cheese+toasted sesame or sour cream+mushrooms ect.) and it is SO good. It is called Bucko - you should visit them too. The name means Chubby btw haha

I think pineapple is wrong for pizza because it is a mismatch of hardnesses. There was this pizzeria in Reading, PA back in the 80s that had a Hawaiian pizza with pepperoni, finely chopped ham (spam on request), cheese, and shredded pineapple that was pretty good. The pineapple toasted a little and it was not bad.
Most Swedish pizzerias are from Turkey etc. But Banana works fine on pizza not gonna lie and kebab pizza is delicious even my American relatives loved it.
Am I the only one who would ask the leftover pizza dough from the competition? I could fill a lot of unfeed stomach if its still clean dough.. I mean though.

Yeah the whole concept of pizza is to blend delicious taste with healthy ingredients, so it kinda ruins it, but again in italy we have a lot of heavy toppings so it doesn’t really matter anymore, lol.
