Great video, very informative, thank you so much for taking time to create it and explain everything. May I ask a few clarifying questions: - how high do you normally raise your lights? - do you always sand bag lights? and if yes, how do you do that? - do you set your ambient exposure in camera first and then add light? - how do you know how much light to add? Do you just eye ball it? or use light meter? - how would you light bride and groom when there is a large glass window right behind? It would be great to see the following topics covered next: - bride and groom letter readings during getting ready (how to multicam and how to mic them and frame so mic's are not visible in your shots); - reception grand entrance (lighting and multicam); - first dance (lighting and multicam); - cake cutting (lighting and multicam); - bouquet and garter toss (lighting and multicam); - sparkler exit (lighting and multicam). Thank you
What would you prefer, a 2nd shooter or an assistant? I’ve been using a second shooter, but I think I would be better off with someone setting up sound and lights.
I would be interested in a video about the use of cameras without IBIS. - Handheld: lighter, easier to manually focus, more organic, but many times shaky and not a lot of movement possible OR - Gimbal: super smooth but heavier, less organic and follow focus needed? How should you rig up a handheld setup so that you can easily put your camera on a gimbal in a matter of seconds?
T -16 Days till my first Wedding shoot. Will be an indoor one with not much happening, so things like this are as always, very very helpful. I've got a Godox and Apature light for mine, hopefully, they should be solid if required.
This is great! Thanks for the video. Also, legitimately laughed quite hard at those “speeches”. So when it comes to these lights, is it just the fresnel you’re using right over the normal bulb?
A $100 light will get you $100 results. We have the old ones and the new ones. The old ones still work great for us, the new ones are hot garbage. Maybe e just got a bad batch. I’m not a huge fan though. -Jared
What topic do you want to see covered next?

Those lights have a built in lens so if your question is “Is there other diffusion?” then no. No diffusion. Just the fresnel. - Jay
HAHA loved the acting!
So these lights have been discontinued, what do you recommend now?
Aputure 60x, aputure 60x, aputure 60x!

It's pronounced "Kinotekhnik", 'H' is not silent. Short for "cinema technician".
How does one even say that. It boggles the mind
Cringy Weird Al Yankovic ftw :)
