Thank you for providing very basic chords (and I learned a new one due to you, yay).......I am only a beginner, so it is nice to be able to learn basic songs...........without having to do bar chords. I have subscribed. Thank you! I have so many more I want to learn. I have been playing since Nov 21, 2019, so BOUT 1 1/2 years now. So glad you provide vocals as well! Yay!
oddly enough, I was trying to learn this without looking up the chords, and i had the G...............don't most songs start with G? LOL............but I did not know that backwards D chord, so now i know it............which is the one I was speaking of. I don't ever expect to be a lead guitar, just rhythm and vocals..............so love these type of lessons!
@@cathycook66 Great Cat , glad I could help. Your right alot of songs do start on a G chord and remember 99% of the time whatever chord starts a song it also ends on that chord. Cat also chk out my playlist and under "chord stumming and tuning lessons " the 4 easiest chords for beginners it will get you playing songs alot faster. 😊
Jammer there is a D7 in this song not an A7 but an A7 is played like a Amaj chord 2nd ,3rd and 4th string in the 2nd fret is an Amaj just remove your middle (bird finger) from the 3rd string and play 5 down thats an A7 hope this helps :)
Im comfortable with playing chords and strumming together but it always went to shit when i tried to sing over it. After watching this video i was able to learn this entire song in like 10 min. Thank you so much for posting this its helped my confidence a bunch to finally be able to play a full song. This was the first video i saw by you but im definitely gonna subscribe and check out some more

If you're gonna get a lesson out there ,at least get the chords right. I bought a 90s county song book and the chords are correct and they should exactly like the song. RUclips viewers, look elsewhere for the correct tutorial for this one.🎸

I will look at your other ones. Yes I can play and sing about 30 songs so far. Just the basic ones. So much fun though!
