Say what you want about Infinite Warfare, but for me, it was easily one of the greatest campaigns I have played. I actually felt sorry for the characters and I actually cared for them. I especially find the mission where Reyes & Ethan are having an emotional heart to heart whilst they are floating in space extremely emotional. The scene adds more feels when they play a part of this music in with it. It’s hard to believe that this was such a hated COD as clearly so much passion and hard work went into this game, especially the single player and it’s also sad to come to the realisation that Infinity Ward will probably never make a sequel to this due to the bad reception it received :( it’s quite sad for the many other people who would agree with me on this.
I know m8, this is my favourite cod campaign in the entire series excluding COD 4. Probably the most meaningful Call of Duty single player game we have ever got in terms of a character driven narrative and thematic qualities (Sacrifice, moral ambiguity in warfare and the human connection between man and machine). I could go on about why I love this campaign despite its flaws (Main Villain and world building was a problem) but not enough to drag me out of this amazing experience.
Seriously. The side missions in this game are all super unique and interesting, the soundtrack is incredible, the story is great, for once you can get sleight of hand in campaign. And fighting in zero gravity was awesome because you could rotate your character upside down and shit, it's my favorite cod campaign above MW4 imo.
Soooooo nostalgic. I remember playing this a couple years back when it was still coming out with shit. It was so fun chasing those variants. No other cod had a variant system like this one. This cod had a whole different vibe.... I miss it.... infinity ward always makes the best ones
Im 17 Now and This makes me wanna cry, because I know I'm not gonna experience being 9 years old and listening to this for the first time again. I want to go back to those simpler times.
I know this wasn't the greatest cod but I still played it and everytime I think of it, I can hear this theme playing in my head. Well at least I can install it again and get nostalgic! ^.^
Man this music brings back nothing but good ass memories I had playing this game with my friends during high-school. I would do ANYTHING to get those days back😪
@@PaigeMarloneFacts, the multiplayer wasn’t bad at all, yeah could be better, but not that bad as people say. I remember buying this game when it first came out, I bought the Legacy Edition with my dad, as he promised me. Holy, it’s been a long time ago, well I am going to buy this game again and play it since it’s on sale. Hopefully we can get a sequel in the future, would definitely love it. Hopefully the salty cod fans are more grown up this time, or they should release this game without the “cod” name. Since people have different expectations from a Call of Duty game, and hate games which is not appropriate for cod. This game deserves much better, only if it was released today, can’t even stop thinking about people being crazy over playing this game.
Sedd I listened to the whole OST one night a while ago and I was disappointed none of the songs contained the intro or spawn themes in them. Maybe that was just the iTunes version of the OST? I'll find a YT vid or playlist and keep the search going.
Best campaign of any game I ever played. And that’s really saying something cause i love assassin’s creed. If any people here are fans of both, they understand
this game being amazing and 2016 being a wild year for me created memories that this game will hold forever, it was a honor and a privilege to fight with and against y’all back then 🤝
This main menu music is better than the actual song "Anthorpic Universe" (still excellent though) on the main soundtrack, this remix just feels more meaningful and exciting.
Had to come here after replaying the campaign. This is my favorite Call of Duty for sure. Probably cause it was the first one i bought for myself and actually played without going to a friend's house. Replaying it i forgot that it was even a CoD title cause it was so good compared to all the garbage that has come out in the past couple of years. TL;DR: Nostalgia hits feels.
This is my favorite cod next to bo2 and bo1 I really enjoyed this game,I didn’t play the campaign but the multiplayer and the zombies, whatever I’ll do to get this game again
Hey. Nobody is probably Watching this comment and living normal. But im sick and i decided to use my time to play infinite warfare. I once played it in 2019, and stopped at the first mission. Days ago when i wasnt sick i completed it and now im here sick all alone celebrating how i finished specialist difficoulty
Tbh the campaign and zombies were unreal in this game. I absolutely love this game and I still play it. I didnt even mind the multiplayer. Especially compared to the sweatfest cods we have nowadays.
Ill say this... The arcady gameplay of COD was the best... Havent played WW2s campaign but IW was a great campaign. Infinite warfare was probably the last campaign i played and got days after the game came out, but multiplayer should've stayed boots on the ground
I was part of the people on the hate train for this game. I just didn't know any better at the time, okay? I can say that I regret it all. Infinity Ward really tried to make something out of this game. I realize that now that I played this game for myself. The microtransactions in the multiplayer weren't bad at all. Some variants of course were overpowered, but those were few and far between, and barely anyone had them. The only real complaint I had was that in zombies pubs there was always guaranteed that one fucker that cheats his way through the map because he plays as the shady guy. And Ethan is my favourite character in the campaign, as i'm sure is the same for many others.
cod veterans be like: "why cant cod return to its roots" "i hate it bc its futuristic" "zombies sucks treyarch better" shame you are "veterans", enjoy what you have
Because people back in 2016 people were tired of futuristic games and they wanted Activision to go back to the world war or modern shooters, but they got ignored and Activision released the infinite warfare trailer and the rest is history. Call of duty 4 that came out in 2007 was getting remastered and Activision decided that if you wanted modern warfare remastered you have to get infinite warfare and pay $80 for it. Maybe that’s another reason why people hated infinite warfare.
The problem with infinite warfare was the fact it was labelled call of duty, it should of been it's own game. I hated multiplayer but the campaign is one of my favourite things ever.
Yeah i think cod iw is based a bit on cod ghosts. 'Cause whenever i play cod iw i'm always thinking of cod ghosts. I don't know why but i think that's because i think cod iw looks like cod ghosts (especialy multiplayer).
Zino Liopas Late to the party but you also can’t forget about the Beast From Beyond zombies map, which was essentially a crossover between IW zombies and the Extinction game mode from Call of Duty Ghosts. Something else to add is the fact that Poindexter actually knows about the ghosts extinction maps (movies made by Willard Wyler) thus meaning that they are actually in the same universe.
1-the best campaign in cod games 2-decent multiplayer with good maps and fun guns and you can unlock all dlc guns for free unlike bo3 3-a very good zombies mod 4- the graphics are good even now 5-the soundtrack was amazing You didn’t even play it

I Agree. It’s Such A Good Game. People are like: this is bad! It shouldn’t exist! It needs better zombies! ) You People Are Mean.

It wasn't the best, but I still love this cod
Nostalgic indeed
This menu music alone makes it one of my favourite cods
i fuckin love it.
I started replaying it, you should do the same
This has to be one of the most chill and calming call of duty soundtracks
Im 17 Now and This makes me wanna cry, because I know I'm not gonna experience being 9 years old and listening to this for the first time again. I want to go back to those simpler times.
It’s better that you are experiencing it now while you’re older and being able to understand things better
This music hits different when you complete the campaign and already know all that Reyes and the Retribution's crew had to face
Take me back to November 2016 Please.
Why is this the most hated game I love it
People have thier own opinion but I am be same here
No me gustó el final pero el juego está bueno
It was because we kept getting futuristic cod's at that time
Same
People say it copied halo games

If only they remastered this game and removed the P2W, it would definitely be one of the most legendary games to ever exist.
The last good cod infinity ward title by the new infinity ward, imo

Why IW games make me nostalgic no matter how good or bad?
i fell this part is the most in-future-time in 2065😟
2065 is bo3, iw has no set date, since the only sort of date is the m.2187, thus its theorized to be set in the 22nd or 23rd century.
Let's be honest. The only reason this game was as hated as it was is because of that big fat 'CALL OF DUTY' sitting on top.
