This is so awesome! I've been a Storm fan since first reading her introduction in 1975! I hated the mohawk at first, but it grew on me! 😃It is a symbol of how BAD ASS Storm really is! Seen again years later, in her knife fight with Marrow. When she licked Marrow's blood from her knife, I fanboyed OUT! 🤯👏👏👏 Your illustration is amazing! The detail of her skeleton, the lightning, the pose. I wish drawing was my artistic talent! But I applaud those who have it!

To an extent it looks natural, the intensity of lightning could give a transparency allowing you to see her skeletal structure under her skin...They should actually use this idea when illustrating her attacks more often. Awesome work, I feel like a kid again looking at comics for the 1st time!

This is truly beautiful, amazing work! Storm is one of the best, my all-time favourite for sure! 🖤 I'm just hoping that when she gets introduced into the new MCU she will finally be showcased properly, they always seem to crank her powers down!
I agree, she's not even low-key amazing, she's high-key amazing. The movies so far seem to take her for granted.
My wife is not really into comics and even less into listening to hours and hours from all of the comics channels to which I am subscribed, BUT! She graduated from L.A. Art Center and thankfully I stumbled upon your awesome and incredibly informative, and not to mention sensationally presented channel. It's a perfect marriage so to speak between my love of everything comics and her obsession with art. It has now become my favorite thing to watch with her when we are on break together from work or taking care of our wonderful kid. Thanks so much for your time!

You are the type of artist that I dreamed of being when I was little and had drawing as my favorite diversion. I've changed my mind regarding the profession for a long time now (I'm in the middle of a computer science degree) and it's been years since I last sat down to draw anything, but I just wanted to leave this compliment here -- you're awesome!

Gorgeous work, love the way the lighting rides her bones. When you were building up, I was thinking blue and white, but the orange really does do a good job of creating that incandescent build up of power, like if she were to hold the lighting too long she might burst into flame (the more yellow lightning also compliments her earrings). Very cool pose too, it really feels like she's hurling that bolt with some oomph behind it.

Hearing your design process in these videos has really inspired me to get back into art. These videos are so captivating and informed in terms of the marvel lore & experimenting w antimony in order to service the project at hand.
While typing this I checked out your presentation on the design process of the book as a whole & your career. Such a fascinating insight into the artistic world and the careers that form within them.

This was a BEAUTIFUL and POWERFUL depiction of Ororo Monroe.
I think that your choice to darken the background was the only possible choice you could've made considering you needed something seperate the lightning without dulling out the colours of Ororo while at the same time depicting a darkening of clouds which is common with most thunder strikes.
I never really liked that they made Ororo an American in the films earliest films and found her under used but I understood they were always going to make it more about Wolverine, too much so in my opinion.
Villian suggestion: PLEASE DO OMEGA RED!!!!

Everytime I watch these videos I noticed how masterful you’re able to produce the effect that you desire. Even moreso, your ability to make decisions on what colors to use such as making the bone a more bronze hue is really eye opening. I find myself thinking “That won’t work” like how I would with my own art which limits me, but seeing you go through with those decisions and flesh out the results makes me wanna get even better at art. Keep up the great work man, I’m geeking out on your videos.

Ive recently been attending sessions and they truly help. Those 3 stretches will become part of my daily routine and I actually paused the video to share that knowledge with my family.
