- I spend a lot of time critiquing your Football Manager stuff. The tactics, the saves, the transfers, the scouting, all of that was on the chopping block in my last video. So, it’s only fair that I get my own tactic raided by two RUclipsrs I’ve worked with before. They play FM all the time, know their stuff, and will see my FM21 tactic without actually knowing it’s mine. I’ll have fun at the end telling them all their compliments or tips were not for someone else but the person they are talking to, but this should be a fun productive experience for me too.
If I’m dishing it out I should be able to take it too. That being said, I’m offended my FM tactic is always perfect. Sarcasm, but I really have been trying to improve my tactical understanding in FM21, because it has always been the biggest hole in my game in past years. I love all of the stuff outside of the match engine and actual gameplay, get the transfers and player development right, and let those wonderkids do the work my tactic couldn’t. This will help me get better and help you get better too! Win-win and another win because what a great day to be alive and on RUclips.

The 433 with the defensive mid definitely does work, especially if you're a smaller club going up against a higher division side in a cup or something, it's normally what I've used in those scenarios and unless they're a significantly better side (like a prem side against a non league side) it works well and at the absolute worst you come out with a narrow loss, but often you can get draws and wins

After watching your tier list for postion/roles i switched my cam from advanced playmaker to shadow striker and he has equalled his goal tally for the whole of last season in 15 games

I just got back at second division. I secured the title at third division and i hope for this season for at least a mid table position

@@mirage5566 it's not so easy mate. Haha..i have a request from the board go sign under 23 yo players and with promising future for profit for the club. I think i could try and finish mid table (5th-10th) and maybe then try to climb up! So far i have 3/3 losses in friendly matches haha

Some things are very subjective. "Play out of defence" with players with low mental stats is an invitation to get the ball stolen right outside your box. On the other hand, if your midfield has low athleticism, "clearing it long" can become dangerous.
Then individual traits come in play and since 2020 I've seen that players get them way faster than before and sometimes completely randomly from their mentoring groups.
A tactic is as good as its players and their familiarity with it. Unless we're talking about some unbalanced goofiness like 3 defenders and 7 mids. Which I honestly believe could work if you have the right players, again.
Looks like what Mourinho used when he first came to Chelsea. Thats a pretty decent tactic 😆
Wowowo i was struggling to win over athletico madrid with my valencia team in the semifinal of the Spanish cup until I saw your video and used the 4-1-4-1 and it didn't disappoint me at all I got my win in the first attempt, wowow it was very intense I was down to 1-3 in the first half bout in the second half I won 4-3 in last minutes it was very helpful thanks mate!

YES! I've never seen somebody suggest this on a stream or in the comments but my god I've used it for all of fm21 in different scenarios and it's incredible. DW is definitely my favourite role this FM, you can have any sort of player play it well tbh! I had a national league team save where I had 3 strikers and both of my DWs finished on 15+ assists

Z, what's with the WBs? Why not use FBs when you have wingers in the midfield stratum?
Could it be that on 14:00 tactic, that u force them inside on defend duty so u win the ball midfield, and then pass out to attacking wingers who are already high up the pitch and have space to attack? Can that be a good idea?

Don't agree with the assertion 433 doesn't work in FM21 at all. I've used it a great deal this year, to good effect.
Yep, I use it regularly and it works well, a little surprised they were saying it's less good this year. I guess it might be less good relative to how good 4-2-3-1 is this year, but that's more a commentary on how overpowered 4-2-3-1 is this year.
I play 433 with a def mid, and I've won everything I won the prem with qpr, and won the Scottish prem league with queenspark won all the leagues, its your tactics and player tactics that are key in my view 👍
The 433 is always good in FM. Every tactic has a weakness, and the 433 weakness--space between wide forwards and wingbacks--is acceptable.

At real game, you have to adapt the tatic during the game, you never get good results if you use the same tatic at 90 minutes, against diferent teams, the good coach adapt and is creative, best regards from Portugal

im not agree with the 451 opinions. If the wingers are in attack role, they can arrive in area easily even if they play as mildfielders

F9 and SS toghether? That's like a lot of overlap. I've never tried it. And no inverted wingers or inverted full backs? I always have inverted wingers to push more bodies to the box. But I'm getting pelted at my save so...

You cant rate a tactic without knowing the players, every tactic can be good depending on the players you have, in my opinion is nonsense to rate a tactic without knowing the players, and even more nonsense to say that he would smash that tactic... At least in real life football
