In this picture you saw was vessel "blacklit", standing under some tree "canopies" by any chance? The lore behind sleep token adds a whole new level to the lyrics but honestly its not needed, their songs can mean so much to so many people without the lore. Worship!
I have a whole youtube playlist of “older” stuff. Just amazing!!!! Not hard to find. 💕💕💕. Not everyone wants to explore but just makes me love him more!! Glad you are continuing your journey
Yes🌯 but I will say most if not all of what you find online is him in his late teens and early twenties. There are only a few newer pictures. Finding out for me, (by accident) made me admire him even more and now I have so much of his older works to enjoy. Take Aim is one of my favorite songs and one that made me solidify my love for ST
Yes 🌯 btw many fans have uploaded a bunch of his old RUclips videos back when he was a teen to his early twenties but that’s only if you really want a deep dive😉
Yes 🌯 but IYKYK When it comes to the lore, I’ve always looked at it as Sleep is a metaphor for this person he was involved with. The toxic relationship. And the character of Vessel gives him the opportunity to express his emotions and deal with the trauma he suffered. The trilogy of albums makes up the stage of his pain. Sundowning is the initial obsession with that person. Being completely enamoured with them and giving himself fully to her but not getting anything in return. He sees red flags but doesn’t care. This Place Will Become Your Tomb is the depression stage. Just wanting to receive a fraction of the love and devotion that he gives. But still giving into the depths of pain and depression (hence the name of the album). Take Me Back To Eden is basically his acceptance and beginning to find himself again. The healing process. You’re in for one hell of a ride with this band. I can assure you, there will be multiple songs that will legit bring you to tears. Not just out of sympathy for his pain, but there will inevitably be something you can relate to on a deep personal level. Especially if you’ve ever had to deal with a toxic partner.

The identity of the conduit is not important, only the message. Worship 💔

Just "Don't let the world swallow you" you sweet "Mud Angel". Because you are a "Patient" and your eyes are "Graves" to me.
