Thx for sharing. I have a Paint by Numbers (canvas) that I wish to try with Markers. Do you recommend Acrylic or Alcohol based? May you have a recommended brand and what size Nib is best? The canvas is 16x20 inches. Cheers.
I don’t have a lot of experience with paint by number but my suggestion would be to use acrylic markers since they are paint based and would probably look the best on a canvas. Depending on the detail of the canvas, I would suggest using brush tip markers because they are the most like a paintbrush. But for the finer details, I would use a 0.7 nib of acrylic markers. Hope that helps!
@@amandamanda2944 I started with water based markers. Crayola is a good cheap option if you get the 100 pack. There’s also a ton of brands on Amazon that are typically a brush tip and fine tip on the other side. My favorite is acrylic paint markers but they can get expensive so I would try out water based first and then move to acrylic paint if you want. My favorite is Tooli art.
Acrylic markers are the best for these colouring books. Such brands with extra-fine tip as Nicety, Tooli-Art, and also some brush tips like GuangNa and Languo.
Thank you for sharing your process

I’m having trouble finding something good to use to color these. I’m used to alcohol markers but they don’t work with these. Any suggestions?
