One of my favorite releases of this year. I think I would be a hardcore stan right now if they didn't put Hwarang on hiatus because thats really hard to deal with as a fan. The fact he hasn't come back yet either worries me
Hey y’all! I’m glad you liked Lighthouse. They also released a music video for There, so watch it in your own time if you want a good cry! And of course Lew could literally destroy worlds like where did my cute smol boy go???? And Hanbin’s final chorus is just *chef’s kiss*, it makes my eyes well up every time I hear it. And the choreography goes so hard like it’s such a vibe. I feel like Tempest always knocks it out of the park, even if I personally don’t like the music, the boys’ skills and talent always shine through.
Lighthouse honestly could’ve been my favorite title track from them(the album is also some of their best work) but the context around it just makes me really sad. The company announced that Hwarang would be put on indefinite hiatus like a week before the comeback!!! So unfortunately the song just reminds me of unpleasant times and I just cannot enjoy it. He’s still in their Japanese debut but his screen time is cut way way down. It’s honestly really scary to watch your favorite group lose one of its members and you don’t know when/if they’re coming back. I’m trying to stay positive that he’ll come back some time soon but with road to kingdom(sigh) coming up and still hearing no word about him, I’m losing hope. It’s really depressing. Especially since their group chemistry and friendship is the biggest selling point of the group imo. And Hwarang’s raps that he wrote himself will always be in the songs they perform so I don’t know if I will ever listen to any of Tempest’s music the same way again if he never comes back.
At the very least I hope he comes back in 2 years after completing his bachelor’s degree or doing his military service. Still not great but I would rather have that than him never coming back.
Anyway that was depressing. But I’m glad y’all are giving Tempest the praise they deserve. Not many reactors even give them a chance.

Hanbin and Lew are my biases. But they are all bias wreckers. They are very talented. I love every single one of their B side songs. Did you guys like any of their B side songs that you didn’t officially react to?

I am so disappointed Tempest isn't at KCON LA. I had time off from work, a hotel booked and a free ticket to fly out there, but when neither Tempest or Just B are on the schedule, I cancelled.
And have you heard both Tempest and Just B are going to be on Road to Kingdom 2 this fall? It makes me doubt they will be at KCON Europe either 😢
