Waiting on mine. I bought one of the extras that went up a week or so ago. There has been a couple other production knives from him before but they were produced by We. There is a Miura that was a Drop exclusive and a Shamwari too. I have the CF Miura never had one of the We Shamwari though. I love that Miura though. One of the best actions. For as small as it is and light of a blade it falls shut they had the CF like I bought and I think the other version was wood.
My Xyro doesn't deploy as a front flipper (I can only reverse flick it) but I still enjoy it and plan on keeping it. Maybe I'll put some Skiff bearings in it and see if the front flipping action might improve?? The fit and finish is pretty nice. Not $450 nice, but I figure there is a $100-$200 premium on the Bull name and design. If this were just a new release designed by Reate, I would expect that it would be priced around $250-$275.
the actions on both of my reate made penas are miles better than the action on my xyro and they sold for 275 (with steel inserts btw) - i feel abt the same tho the xyro is still dope might look into the bearing size to pick up some skiffs
I did see on Gareth's insta that there is another batch of xyros being qc'd now. Not sure if they are going to be for sale. I love mine. Fantastic knife. Close to action of real Shamwari
It's nice I was playi.g with one yesterday. The front flipper is tucked the flipper bax is tucked its a mini... a true mini... things are hard to reach and it's small.. but damn is it nice... the design outshines the fit and finish. My carbonfiber had pits and there was gapping between the liners and scales. Minimal but obvious. It's way over priced. Design far outshines execution....
TW Price already made this exact knife, but at (a Goldilocks) 3.3” for $295…with more options. This might beat it on the jimping and acoustics, but it’s a 3” knife for $650 on EBay SMH…ridiculous.
$450 is a hefty price for such a small knife. That being said that thing is beautiful. I'd say if it's not too small for ya and if you have the money it's definitely worth it "if you have big hands you're not gonna like it" (You said that right as I was typing this lmao)
$450 is a ffffffuuuuh to the no. Shit atleast make the blade vanax or something at that point. But yea 450 for a little Reate OEM is wild, at that point keep saving money for something better or get a small inkosi/sebenza I feel like anyone that says it’s worth it is experiencing some buyers guilt. $325 is more like it. Maybe $375 if I was feeling frisky
Yeahhhh as much as I feel like "worth it" is completely subjective (and I love the look of this one, don't get me wrong, I'd carry it) I don't know if a Chinese production knife in m390 (again) is worth small sebenza or xm18 money. To me at least. I guess it is still subjective. I'd rather carry some Spyderco cruwear, or maxet, or k390, etc. For half the money.
That thing is gorgeous. I feel like it would hurt to pay that much for it, but you wouldn’t regret it

👀
There was some available a week ago. Mine should probably be here tomorrow.
Really simple design, but an absolute banger. I wish more knife companies would stick to what works instead of trying to reinvent the wheel!
I'm literally going to stay on blade binge and refresh so I can get a tristache this time around 😂
He has some for sale on his website if you want one ❤
Man there’s just something about South African knife designs that I absolutely adore
What’s up Kole? Good material as usual!
Beautiful knife, obviously well done but crazy at $450
Got to try one...it's realllllllly fuggin nice...
Acoustics are lovely.
Reate showed how so far ahead of the other china oems they are, it’s not even close. Yes, it’s worth the 450. I have one and it’s unbelievable.
can be done but not all day
Watch Shabaz's disassembly video of the Sonora for all you need to know about why I'd never buy a button lock integral.
Why would I ever even attempt to take the Sonora apart ... I'm not a masochist 🤣
I can honestly say thats a bunch of Bull. 😊
I love that flat rate package
A Bull knife is on the list but they are hard to get.
I guess you could say...it's a Sham
Egyptian I believe. Beautiful piece holy
it's worth it...if you say it is Sir Kole!
I would say the Sanora is more Mordax than Malibu... turnt to 11. Additionally, i need a 3.5"+ version, stat!
_I badly want one of these! (If anyone has one for sale, I am a buyer!)_
Best rayaught ever is the F22 followed by the F5.5...................

The secondhand prices are outrageous. That's Bull for ya.
With a name like that I guess I have to get this one.
D00d, why do you have the watermark on your intro music vid?!?
Because I'm poor 🤣
Nice!
