    Would be awesome to kind of live like a Viking or the way other ancients did Minus the slavery and with modern amenities (electricity, plumbing and reliable wifi lol) a

      Same. Would love to live in a turf house or one with a sod roof. Wood stove and plenty of yarn for knitting, and leather for bag making.

    I love your accent. My husbands family came from Finland, but his accent was different from yours because his family came from a more rural background. He'd describe you as "cute."

      Grass and other wild plants that are allowed to grow as they like. This type of roofs are great for insulation and feeding animals among other things!

      Hi! That's a bit of an inside joke at Njardarheimr. Vikings had slaves and took part in global slave trade so it's important to bring that side up as well when discussing Vikings.
